The Beckhams To Attend The Costume Institute Gala?

Victoria Beckham has attended the Costume Institute Benefit Gala twice.

In 2006 she attended the Anglomania event, and in 2003 she famously attended the Goddess event with Naomi Campbell, who at the time every believed they hated each other.

It has been recently reported that the Beckham's will be attending this prestigious event along with a host of stars such as George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Christina Ricci, Diane Kruger, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Bosworth and many more.

Please pray to all your gods that is this is true. We have not see the Beckham's on a real red carpet event since their welcome party.

dVb vs. Heidiwood @ Kitson

It has been reported that Heidi Montag's clothing line Heidiwood has completely sold out Kitson, sparking a "my collections better than your collection" boast from Heidi Montag.

The fact of the matter is that Heidi's jeans cost $44.95 jeans, in comparison to dVb at $250.

Also Victoria and Heidi's products are not marketed to the same demographic.

The Beckhams On The Sunday Times Rich List

David and Victoria Beckham were placed at number 616 with £125 million on the annual Sunday Times Rich List. They have gone up since last year.

They're also on some of the various other lists, including the Richest Husband and Wives list at 27 and The Top 50 Music Millionaires at number 20.

David and Victoria Beckham were placed at 29 in the Giving List. They donated or pledged £4 million of their £125 million fortune over the past year - children, educational and sports organisations were the largest beneficiaries.

Victoria Beckham and Kate Beckinsale were guests at the after party for the premiere Speed Racer this weekend.

Unfortunately they did not attend the premiere, so there are no pictures from this event. Guest had a chance to race in go-karts and snack from pretzel stands and cotton candy booths.

I would guest Victoria did not indulge in any of that.

She wore her hair back, as she seems to like to do for special occasions, and red Christian Louboutin shoes.

Last week the birthday girl Victoria Beckham wore this stunning Giambattista Valli strapless white bustier dress with a black floral print.

The Beckham's & The Beckinsales Go Ice-Skating

Two British stylish mum's, Victoria Beckham and Kate Beckinsale, took their kids to the Culver City Ice Skating Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Victoria and and Brooklyn were joined on the ice by Kate and her 8 year-old daughter Lily Mo Sheen.

Brooklyn stuck with hockey style skating, whilst Lily Mo practiced some figure skating.

Once they finished up, the two pals parted ways with Victoria and Brooklyn sneaking out the back exit and into their awaiting white Porsche sports car.

I never used to think much of Kate Beckinsale, but I do think she is the perfect BF for Victoria.

David Beckham Happy With First Derby Win

David Beckham was happy to taste his first derby victory for with the LA Galaxy, as they beat Chivas USA 5-2 on Saturday.

David helped the Galaxy avenge two heavy defeats to the same opponents last season and, with two wins and a draw from five matches, they now sit second in the Western Conference.

At the post match press conference David said. "It was a very good team performance against a good opponent. It is always very satisfying to win a derby game because of what it means to the club and the fans".

"It could be the best night I have had since I came over here. I am delighted for everyone at the Galaxy and my team-mates."

Landon Donovan got the match ball as he scored a hat-trick and two goals from Alan Gordon sealed the win for the Galaxy. Sacha Kljestan and Ante Razov got the goals for Chivas.


OK, I was loving the beard at the early stages, but now? not so much.

Time to trim me thinks.

Victoria Beckham To Design For Tom Cruise?

Tom Cruise is such a fan of Victoria Beckham's style, he's asked her to design clothes for his next big movie, it has been reported today.

Tom is set to star alongside Ben Stiller in Hardy Men, a remake of the classic children's detective series The Hardy Boys.

Tom surprised Victoria at her 34th birthday bash in LA by asking her to contribute to the costume designs.

"After dinner and cocktails at he made a small speech thanking her for being such a great friend," said a source.

"The idea is for her to have a series of meetings with the costume department. If she agrees, Victoria will be given a name check in the end credits."

"It's a hugely exciting opportunity and she blushed bright red when Tom asked her."

dVb Jeans Discounted

Victoria Beckham's jeans are currently being sold for under £35/$69.99 in shops like Loemanns in Reseda, California.

The same jeans were for sale for upwards of £145/$289 in Beverly Hills boutiques such as Kitson and Fred Segal.

Rock & Republic, who Victoria left to start working on her own dVb brand have claimed that Victoria jeans are "seriously overpriced" and made from "cheap fabrics".

A spokesman for Robert de Keyser, owner of distributor Dekeyser Fashions, said: "The new Beckham range appears to be seriously overpriced for a line which is made, unlike other premium denims, in China out of a cheap fabric".

"Whatever Victoria learned about denim from working with Rock & Republic appears to have been lost."

Victoria, forever dignified refused to be dragged into the row.

Her spokesman said at the time: "Victoria had a happy working relationship with Rock & Republic and she's not going to start being negative about them now."

I don't think Victoria has anything to worry about, these particular jeans are last seasons stock, she has a whole new range coming out. This is not uncommon for old stock to appear in these types of stores, but as it is Victoria Beckham, this story is being made a bigger deal.

It has been reported that Victoria Beckham will be headed back to the stage this summer - as a Pussycat Doll!

Pussycat Dolls spokeswoman Alisa Boushey has confirmed the singer will be taking to the stage at the Caesar’s Palace Hotel & Casino in June.

She told British magazine Heat, "Victoria’s been in talks with the Dolls for some time and will be joining them onstage. She would have done it sooner, but it’s a question of her busy schedule. But it will be happening very soon."

I can't see this happening, frankly because I don't think this is really Victoria's scene, dancing in a sweaty club in lingerie. But you never know.

Hi everyone,

I hope you are well?

I was pleased with the draw on Saturday against Houston Dynamo considering the way we started the game. We had no fight in the first half; no urgency at all and everything we did was slow. At half time a few words were said in the changing room and we came out a different team in the second half. It shows that there is plenty of fight within the team, which bodes well for the future if we can play at the level we did in the second half for the rest of the season and turn draws into wins. For me, personally, it was also nice to get a couple more assists. It’s great to play with intelligent players, who know when to make runs and know where the ball is going to be. My game is all about assists, so it was great to get two more and for Landon Donovan to score them.

Good luck to Manchester United, who play Barcelona in the champions league semi-final tonight. The matches between the two teams in the past have always produced great football and I was lucky enough to play in a couple, when United won the Champions League in 1999. I think that United will feel they can win this over the two legs, but Barcelona are also a great team, so both games should be amazing. I’m going to go for United though as they’re the team I support.
