Time.com's 10 Questions For Victoria Beckham

What made you decide to design clothes?
It's just always been something that I've wanted to do. It's my passion. I love women's bodies. I love luxury. I've waited a long time to do this, and I didn't want to do it until I could do it properly.

Do you design for a particular body type or with a particular woman in mind?
Everything that I design I would wear myself. I get a lot of inspiration from the '40s and '50s, so corsetry plays a huge role in the collection. It can help give an illusion of shape by using a bigger shoulder pad, and having a corset gives the illusion of having a tiny waist. But there are dresses that will cater to a lot of different shapes and sizes.

You did a tour recently with the spice girls. would you ever return to music?
No. I'm very respectful of the Spice Girls. What we did was fantastic. Actually, I'm seeing all the girls tomorrow night, which I'm excited about. But fashion is my passion; music isn't anymore. Everything I do revolves around my husband and my children. So I just wouldn't have the time, but on top of all of that, people change, and I've changed a lot, and it's just not where my heart is at anymore.

You seem to wear only high heels. would you ever design a line of shoes?
I would love to. Shoes and handbags, like most women, are something I have a little bit of an obsession with.

Your personal style has evolved a lot since your early days in the media with the spice girls. how do you feel when you look back at pictures of yourself?
People always say, "Do you cringe?" And I say, "Not at all." —Everybody changes. I love fashion, and I love changing my style, my hair, my makeup, and everything I've done in the past has made me what I am now. Not everyone is going to like what I do, but I look back at everything, and it makes me smile.

How do you feel when you look at those armani underwear photos that just came out?
I love those pictures. I worked very hard. I worked out for about four or five months previous to the shoot because I knew I'd be standing there in my knickers and a bra. So when I'm 50, I can look back and say, "Hey, Mommy didn't look too bad after having three kids."

You always seem unfazed by the paparazzi, and they're trailing you all the time. how do you maintain that sense of calm with all these people taking pictures of you?
It is what it is, and I don't like to get too stressed. I like to consider myself a relatively spiritual person, and I just do my thing. I'm very focused on what I do professionally, and I'm very focused on my family, and I don't really get too stressed out about what people say or what other people think. In fact, it's not on my radar at all. If there's anything negative, I don't want to know about it. I just do my own thing and get on with my life. We've got many more important things to think about — such as if something is happening with the children's school or have I paid for the swimming lessons?

Who is your favorite designer?
Antonio Berardi is one of my good friends. I've known him for 10 years, and he made one of my wedding dresses. We had lunch this afternoon, and he took me to the showroom, and his precollection is absolutely amazing. So I'm a big fan of his at the moment.

Who are other people you admire in other fields?
You know myself and David, we both love art. We have a lot of respect for Damien Hirst and Julian Schnabel, and we've met them both, and they're very interesting characters. I also have a lot of respect for the working women out there. As you know, it's not easy when you're looking after children and you have a career as well.

In this rough economic climate, what kind of steps are you taking to cut back?
Everyone is cutting back in lots of different areas, and we are too. I wouldn't want to go into detail, because obviously that's personal, but I think it is something that is affecting absolutely everybody.

VIDEO: David Beckham On Making History

Also on David Beckham's official website, this message has been added:

"David made history on Saturday afternoon, when he stepped out onto the Wednesday turf to record his 109th England cap, a record for an outfield player.

The ex-England captain celebrated his second half performance in style, setting up Wayne Rooney for England's second goal of the night with a trademark cross.

David now stands second in the England all-time caps list, a fair way behind Peter Shilton, who marshalled England's goal an incredible 125 times.

Congratulations David!"

Victoria Beckham Says Goodbye To Music

In today's Corriere Della Sera (Italian) newspaper, Victoria Beckham talks about fashion, Milan and music.

If you can read Italian you can read the whole interview here.

Otherwise, here are some highlights:

About David staying in Milan: "David, I and the boys have taken this decision together with the family. It is a wonderful opportunity for us all."

On the Kids: "We all love Milan. The people made us feel immediately welcome. Our children are happy. But they are settled in their school in Los Angeles. And as a parent, you always put first their happiness and stability. "

On buying a house in Milan: "No we are not trying to buy house in Milan. We have been to Lake Como, is one of the most spiritual places in which we have never been. "

On negative press reports: "David and I did not pay much attention to what other people say about us. The negativity is not a feeling with which we like to live! The way David silences his critic is on the pitch. That is the best answer."

On why footballers marry celebrities: "Today the players are considered celebrities and allowed to mix in environments where there are women who have the same status. Although in the end no one can choose the person whose love."

On her love for Milan: "I love Milan so do our boys. We have lovely friends and we had to explore the surroundings. Recently, I brought my children to Rome. The Italians are a warm people, they love good food, have a wonderful fashion, their passion for life is intense: how can you not appreciate?"

On who her friends are in Milan: "Paolo Maldini and his wife Adriana. When I was in Milan we have been spoiled by all. I also had the good fortune to spend time with other friends: Giorgio Armani, his niece Roberta and her team. Then Domenico and Stefano (Dolce and Gabbana), Antonio Berardi, and Roberto Cavalli.

On the reviews of her collection: "Outstanding. We had an overwhelming response. This year, I added to the collection sexier clothes and shorter looks. It was a step forward consistently. We are in the best boutiques in the world, in Milan, Corso Como course."

On her campaign for Armani Underwear: "I'm pleased with they way I look, I work hard to keep fit, couldn't miss such an opportunity".

On weather she would sing for the Queen: "No, I'm never gonna sing again, I am a fashion designer now".

Victoria Beckham's Full Vogue Russia Interview

Zig-a-Zig Ha! have managed to get the full English transcript of Victoria Beckham's Vogue interview.

You can read the whole interview by clicking here.

The interview is based on the interviewing meeting Victoria in New York when she presented her dress collection.

Of her collection Victoria said, "One should treat a purchase of the dress that can be worn from year to year as advantageous investment. Women will look sexy and conventional in my dresses. That’s why I have paid so much attention to the details: seams, clasps, corsetted dresses and wide waist bands."

"Milan Is More Important Than Money", Says David Beckham

In a new interview with Corriere dello Sport, David Beckham has said "At the moment, Milan is more important than money. I want to think about football before everything else. I said in a clear manner what I think, I want to stay at Milan because I’ve rediscovered myself as a football player."

"The immediate aim is to stay here in Milan and play at the highest level possible," he said. "This would give me the best possibility of securing a place with the England national team."

"Not even I thought the situation could go so well so quickly. In truth I was expecting to do well at Milan, but I was never expecting to enjoy myself this much," Beckham said.

I was very against David going to the Galaxy in the first place. I said this from the very beginning. No disrespect to Galaxy fans, but since his last game at Real Madrid, and excluding the England games, I have hardly seen him play live.

I am happy he now has a chance to come back to Europe, and play at the highest level, but I must say I am very shocked at the amount of interviews he is giving on the subject.

He is being so vocal, which is so uncharacteristic. He must be really desperate to stay in Milan.
