Heidi Montag Wearing dVb Jeans

Whilst filming new scenes for their show The Hills, yesterday afternoon, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were spotted at Café Primo enjoying an over the top kiss.

Whilst Spencer embrace his fictional wife for a kiss, we could see that she was wearing dVb jeans.

Hermes bag and dVb jeans. It looks like Heidi has been taking style tips from Victoria.

Heidi Klum Wears Victoria Beckham Collection

When I got your messages on my blackberry to say that Heidi Klum was photographed wearing Victoria Beckham's Bidart dress, I couldn't wait to post this.

FINALLY a celeb has worn Victoria Beckham's collection, I - we - have been waiting for months for this.

Heidi is the perfect type of celebrity to wear Victoria's designs, and do it justice.

Heidi wore her dress with Victoria's favourite YSL Trib Two's as well, when she was promoting Victoria's Secrets newest bra in New York yesterday.

She looks amazing here.

Brown Thomas To Stock Victoria Beckham Collection

The luxury department store Brown Thomas in Ireland is due to finally stock Victoria Beckham's dress collection.

Tne store will stock Victoria's autumn/winter collection for its flagship Grafton Street store, and is due to hit rails in July.

The Fall 2009 collection is only going to be in 12 stores Worldwide, so this is a massive coup for the Dublin store, and will be good news, due to the fact that they were not selected to receive the Spring 2009 collection.

The Fall collection will start from €950 for the cheapest dress, going up to €5,490 for the more elaborate gowns at Browns Thomas.

Message From Net-A-Porter.com

Net-A-Porter like Victoria Beckham are very happy with the success of her collection.

Apparently it sold out within minutes.

I would say to those disappointed, to keep checking the website. Not everyone that purchased the dress, will be happy with the fit, so there could be some returns.

Net-A-Porter are already asking us to register our interest for the Fall 2009 collection which is months away.

Still gloating in the success, Net-A-Porter have added this page to their site.

Victoria Beckham's Dress Collection On Sale TOMORROW

Victoria Beckham's Spring 2009 dress collection will go on sale TOMORROW on Net-A-Porter.com.

The Spring 2009 collection's pre-launch sold-out everywhere including Selfridges, Harrods, Bergdorf Goodman's and Neiman Marcus.

As I know very well how Net-A-Porter works here are my tips:

- The site doesn't refresh their Wednesday page until around 10am GMT, or later so keep refreshing.

- If you know exactly what you are looking for contact the fashion advisor:

Email fashionadvisor@net-a-porter.com
Call +44 20 7198 4638 from 9am - 6pm GMT

- Like Harrods and Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, have private high spending clients who they will offer the collection to first, so if you favourite dress is already gone, this is the reason why.

I am not sure if this is a US launch as well, but the international site will definitely launch Victoria's collection tomorrow.

Happy Shopping and let me know if you buy anything.

I am hoping to get her black strapless dress.

UPDATE: My friend who works at Net-A-Porter, has informed me that the collection - as I predicted - is almost sold out in terms of pre-sales from their high spending clients. Log on early.

In Victoria's Closet - Victoria Beckham Dress Collection #3

Victoria Beckham wore dress #3 from her collection called Minerve.

The dress is a modified version from the one that was presented for her collection.

The cap sleeved dress is plain navy with a black waist band.

I would have loved to have seen her in the patterned dress.

Saks Dump Victoria Beckham's dVb Jeans

Saks Fifth Avenue have dumped the dVbline from their stores after the jeans failed to sell as well as had hope.

Critics complained the $300 jeans were overpriced given Victoria Beckham's inexperience as a fashion designer and the fact they were manufactured using cheaper denim from China.

A Saks source told the New York Post that executives there were offended when Victoria chose to sell her dress line exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman in New York and three Neiman Marcus branches instead of their stores.

A source told the paper: "Saks dropped Victoria Beckham's line. They were offended when she sold her dress line to Bergdorf's and not to Saks, even though Saks launched her denim line in their New York store."

"Bergdorf never carried her jeans, but they got her designer line anyway."

"Nobody wanted to buy $300 jeans from someone who is not a trained designer."

Sounds like sour grapes by Saks.

Victoria Beckham Speaks To NY Mag

Thanks to Posh Lover for directing me to a video of Victoria Beckham showing and talking about her collection on NYMag.

I love the names she gives her clothes like the "sucky sucky" dress, which pulls you in and makes you look skinny.

The more I hear Victoria talk about her collection, the more in love I become with her and the collection.

This really is her passion and I am so proud of her.

What The Press Are Saying About Victoria Beckham's Second Collection

The UK press seem to be slight miffed that Victoria Beckham has shown her second collection in New York. I would say to the UK press, if you showed her any kind of love or respect in the first place, maybe she would not feel the need to show her collection stateside.

The price points for this collection are quite high. They start from £850 up to a high of £4,600 and £4,900 for the more elaborate, long, trained gowns.

Production for this collection will be doubled, so the 400 of Spring 2009, will become 800 for Fall 2009.

The Times said "It's a finely-structured and perfectly-tailored collection to within a centimetre of their lives, passed by her gaze."

The Daily Mail says, "Younger, brighter and leggier: Posh unveils 'accomplished' second collection of dresses."

The Sun says. "CLEAVAGE was definitely out, but legs were IN as far as Victoria Beckham's latest dress range was concerned."

The Guardian says, "The popstar turned fashion designer branches out into more adventurous coats and dresses."

Victoria Beckham Fall 2009

Victoria Beckham's Fall 2009 collection has been revealed on WWD.com.

As I have a subscription to the online fashion magazine site, I am able to bring you the pictures and the interview.

View the collection above and let me know your favourites. Mine are 5, 9, 11, 17, 18, 22.

This is a nice collection, but comparing the two, I much preferred the first one. That was more classic Victoria.

I love the use of more colours in this collection though.

Update: Style.com has posted the whole collection with one more than WWD.com, this new one is 24.

Here is her cute interview:

"Madonna — you can’t do better than that!" Victoria Beckham joked when asked to identify her emerging customer base. (An early group of her spring dresses hit Bergdorf Goodman and Selfridges weeks ago.) She was referring to the current W photo shoot in which Madonna makes steamy stuff of one look.

In fact, Beckham has a broader base in mind. Though too early to tell a mere two collections into her second career, judging from the controlled lineup she showed on Sunday, it seems that she may indeed be no lightweight. (Figuratively, that is. Formerly Posh is still a slip of a girl.) Beckham’s focus remains on curvy, sensual dresses that won’t date easily. Such was her launch raison d’ĂȘtre, which now, one very bizarre season later, seems ever so savvy. For fall, she added shorter, more relaxed looks and conversely, more demonstrative flourishes such as a glam fold to the bodice of a cocktail dress inspired by her wedding gown. There were also “capes,” actually swing-back affairs with zip-up sleeves, and sultry evening gowns — some with long sleeves! — with a Forties siren feel. As for helping a gal suck it all in, Beckham removed the inner “obi” construction featured in numerous spring designs, in favor of offering a single, separate corset, retailing for $590. "That helps keep the price of the dresses down," she said. Might it also signal an innerwear collection in the near feature? "Why," Beckham mused, "that’s a very good idea."

Victoria Beckham: Jean Genius

Before I jump on the plane I found this interview online were Victoria Beckham spoke to MY-WARDROBE.COM.

Designer WAG, celebrity mother and modern fashion icon; Victoria Beckham has many guises. These days, reflecting on the success of her dVb denim line, the one she wears most often in the media is designer. "I built the dVb brand from scratch which is a dream come true," Victoria told MY-WARDROBE.COM. "I am blessed to be able to do what I love and express myself creatively."

Speaking to the site, where she will stock her spring/summer 2009 collection, she reflected on the success of the range - insisting that her jeans are not just for the fashion pack and that she can dress, "any woman who loves style, wants to look good and appreciates quality." She lists Azzedine Alaia, Alexander McQueen, Alber Elbaz and Nicholas Ghesquiere as her design influences - noting that Marc Jacobs has been a particular inspiration to her.

"Marc is such an important designer in our time and his knowledge of art and pop culture is utterly inspiring," she enthuses. "I'm lucky enough to be able to call him a good friend and I continue to learn so much from him."

Alongside the strength of her denim offering, the success of her eyewear has also silenced many industry critics. Victoria is quick to credit the inspirations for her winning shapes: "My key styles are my large acetates, and Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Onassis have strongly influenced these pieces," she observes. "My large metal aviators are a modern day version on the iconic shape that we all know and love."

Whether jeans or accessories, however, Victoria maintains the key to looking good lies with the individual, "My best piece of advice is that women should always take into account their shape and personality - and cater for that rather than blindly following trends."

Madonna Wears Victoria Beckham Collection For W Photo Shoot

I have been dying to see Victoria Beckham's dress collection on someone other than Victoria, and I don't think you can get much higher in the celebrity world than Madonna.

Madonna wears Victoria favourite dress, the black strapless dress. The pictures are from W magazine in which Madonna is the cover star.

The dress is the same dress Victoria wore to Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 show.

Thanks to Posh Lover and everyone else who gave me the heads up.

Victoria Beckham's dVb Jeans Spring 2009 Collection

imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com imagebam.com

My good friend, and fellow British blogger AndyK from Denimology, has revealed Victoria Beckham's dVb Spring 2009 jeans Look Book.

The jeans are a mixture of pastel candy coloured jeans (peach is my favourite, I must own these), skinny jeans, flared jeans and men's jeans.

Those of you guys that have been asking me about a launch date for the men's jeans, I honestly don't have any idea.

I would suggest contacting Andy at Denimology, because he will be the first to know.

I love the casting of the shaved haired guy and the dark haired girl. Cute.
