I do like to give Katie Holmes credit for her style tranformation, as she is a grown woman and only she can decide what to wear.
But every now and again I see a similarity that is just too uncanny to pass by.
She is even developing the pout.

I don't think Katie copies Victoria, maybe she's inspired by her. She's on the way to find her style and she's good in it. Every time I see pictures of Katie she looks better.
I do think she looks good in more classic clothing like she's been sporting lately, but I also think she's dressing very old for 26. And the Roland Mouret with the Birkin plus the bob is a bit too obvioiusly copycat for my liking. It was almost embarrassing.
I guess for me it's not too much of a surprise because it seems like people to tend to come in contact with Victoria and have some sort of friendship with her tend to morph into her a little bit. What is it they say that copying is the best compliment? At least she's not doing it like that girl from Big Brother. It's just like how Eva Longoria has a similar tattoo on her wrist like Victoria's. Another thing is Katie's got a stylist and usually stylists ask their clients who inspire them when it comes to dressing so that could be another reason.
I do think Katie can wear a red 'coat' several months after VB wore a red 'dress'without being called a copy cat. I think it seems more similar due to the similar surroundings the photographer caught her in (coming out of a hotel/building), but I dont think this is copying. If you look closely, its not even the same shade of red. Just my 2 cents :-)
Victoria definately inspired Katie and advised her what to buy when they went shopping together, ever since Katie started to hang out with Victoria, her style improved. She looks amazing, but i prefer her with long hair.

It is so obvious that Katie is trying to copy Victoria that I almost feel embaressed for her! I have seen other photos where Katie tries to do Victoria's head tilt and stare into the camera while having one hand by her ear....that is so Mrs Beckham! In my opinion if I were Katie I would get my own style because no one can do posh better than herself. It just makes me cringe trying to see Katie copy - please stop it lady, it doesnt suit you!!!
I think people are just jumping on the bandwagon that Katie is copying Posh, made worse by the mystery surrounding Katie's mariage fueling the rumours,bcoz that is what they hope to hear to satisfy their curiosity.
I share same point of view with Anonymous 16 January 2008 14:51 . I AM NOT CONVINCED the slightest bit by this rumour. katie wore a red autumn coat, Victoria wore a summer dress, which are obviously two seperate categories.Does this mean that Katie has to avoid red all her life, to avoid being called a copycat. the only similarity are the theme of the pictures "walking out of building". I'm sure if these 2 women weren't friends, katie would have still made a style transformation to suit her new life! Relaxe people!
i think katie and victoria have very different styles but they both look fabulous nontheless.
I hate when i read stupid tabloids that make them sound like their fighting all the time, when clearly they are not!
i think they are both great and how could anyone hate being victoria or katies friends both sweet!
