In a surprising turn around since coach Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti said in a press conference yesterday that David will not play. Today the starting 11 has been announced and David Beckham will play after all.Beckham had been expected to be on the bench after joining his team-mates in Dubai for training last week, but Ancelotti will rely on his experience against struggling Roma.
The game kicks off at 2030 central European time.
The line up is as follows:
MILAN: Abbiati; Zambrotta, Favalli, Maldini, Jankulovski; Beckham, Pirlo, Seedorf; Kakà, Ronaldinho; Pato.
I am glad David is now playing and I hope it is because he is fit to play, and not for commercial reasons.
