David Beckham On The Cover Of Men's Health

David Beckham appears on the cover of the US version of Men’s Health.

The 1920s-inspired autumn style guide shoot sees David wearing a suit beside a boxing ring.

With all of David's injury worries behind him, he does look a picture of health in this magazine spread.

David's popularity continues to rise, and the effect he is having on soccer in the states is something to be proud of.

In his interview he says:

“I used to play golf, quite a few years ago, but to be honest, I’d rather spend 4 hours with the kids than 4 hours on a golf course. As much as it can be relaxing, it’s a frustrating sport. My way of relaxing is listening to music and spending time with the kids.”

The Becks Effect

Adidas sold 500,000 LA Galaxy shirts with Beckham’s name last year — making it the world’s best-selling sports top.

Galaxy’s away games attendances soared 118 per cent, and home ones by a quarter.

TV viewing figures leapt 150 per cent whenever Becks played a match.
