David Beckham Kicks Off The Countdown To The 2012 Olympics

The fans inside the 90,000 seated National Stadium came to see the worlds most famous icon, and they roared the loudest when David Beckham was presented to the crowd.

He lifted a football above his head and kicked it into the crowd, which signaled the countdown to the 2012 London Olympics.

In his interview David had said that he had a nightmare the night before that he dropped the ball. But he did not.

You will not be surprised to know that the press have already started saying that David was checking out the lady violinist in the barely there blue shorts.
