Hi everyone,
Well, as I’m sure you know by now, the England squad has been picked for the friendly against Germany and this time I’ve not made it. I’ve not played competitively for a few weeks and the manager wants players that are match fit in his squad. Although I’m still training with the Galaxy there’s nothing like playing matches and it’s really easy to lose that sharpness that you get with playing week in, week out.
Good luck to the squad though. I know it’s only a friendly, but it’s an away match and as everyone knows when it comes to England there are no friendlies against Germany!
The Galaxy squad and myself are now looking forward to travelling to New Zealand for the game next month. It’s our last match of the year so we’ll definitely want a good performance before the players go on their winter breaks.
That’s all for now.
Take care,
David

so funny about the bit when it comes to Germany..so not a friendly lol...awww wish he was playing! Come on England!!!
david is always so well poised in all the comments he makes and i think it really shows he is one of the few true role models in hollywood
i remember in a radio interview he did in spain just before coming over he even mentioned that he knows people are looking up to him and tries to make decisions in respect to that
so even if you say his days of top football are over (which i could argue the opposite all day long) david will forever be a top role model and in truth i think that is one of the few things more important to him than football
