David Beckham Blogs From LA

Hi everyone,

I’ve just arrived back in Los Angeles after playing for England against France and winning my 100th cap. It was a dream moment for me and I was proud and honoured to play for my country for the one-hundredth time and it was a truly amazing experience to play the game against France, one of the best teams in the world.

Back in LA, I’m really looking forward to the new MLS season and I can’t wait to get started. It’s my first full season with the Galaxy and we’ve had a good pre-season. Ruud Gullit and the coaching team have worked us hard to ensure we’re in top condition and prepared for the first game away to the Colorado Rapids on Saturday. I really enjoyed visiting Denver last year for the All Star Game but I’m really looking forward to playing this time.

I’ll let you know next week how the match went.

Take care,

David

Beyonce Knowles To Rival Victoria Beckham In The Sunglasses Department

It has been reported that Beyonce Knowles own line House of Dereon brand next focus will be eyewear, a move which is said will directly impact the sales of Victoria Beckham's dVb sunglasses collection.

Personally I find this hilarious. NO one can rival Victoria Beckham when it comes to sunglasses, the woman wears them nearly everyday, girlfriend knows her products and besides, dVb is taken more seriously than the House of Dereon.

I have not seen one celebrity or anyone PERIOD wearing the House of Dereon clothing apart from Kelly Rowland and that is because she has to.

Kitson Complain That Victoria Beckham Will Not Promote dVb In Their Store

Fraser Ross, owner of the Los Angeles-based Kitson stores, said his number-one issue with celebrity clothing lines is the lack of participation from the celebrities.

"There has to be more support for their retailers. The celebrity has to be 100 percent involved with their own line and they have to be willing to support the retailers who are selling it. Having a clothing line should be treated by them as no different than selling an album or promoting a movie," he said. "I'm fighting right now with Victoria Beckham's people because she lives here in L.A., we sell her line and she won't come in here to do an appearance. We have customers asking if she will come in and what am I supposed to tell them? She lives here, she really should come out and support her fans, the people buying her jeans."

As you all know Victoria Beckham has made numerous personal appearances at Saks Fifth Avenue and Holt Renfrew recently.

Personally I don't see Victoria promoting her product there. Victoria has said on many occasions that she wants the dVb brand to be synonymous with high end stores, and to me Kitson is very much a t-shirt stores were people like Heidi Montag go and shop just to get papped by the paparazzi. Kitson also has the likes of Paris Hilton promoting her crappy ass line in the store, so no wonder she wants to stay away.

The picture above is when Victoria last did a promotion at Kitson back in June 2005. That was when she was under contract for Rock and Republic.

The Beckhams Post-Game Dinner In Paris

Despite England losing in France that did not stop Victoria and David Beckham celebrating his 100th cap in last night.

The couple arrived at Baccarat Lounge Restaurant looking very loved up and stylish. Victoria in her stunning Antoni Beradi fitted dress, and him wearing his England suit very proudly.

The pair dined on a nouvelle cuisine set menu at the eatery in Place des Etats-Unis. "They didn't have a champagne toast but Baccarat presented David with a cake at the end of the meal," says the source. "It was in the shape of a soccer ball and decorated with sparklers."

The Beckhams are due to return home to America in preparation for a Saturday match in Denver for his Los Angeles Galaxy.

In Victoria's Closet - Antonio Berardi

Now that I have given David Beckham the attention he deserved, I am focusing on what Victoria wore.

For her husbands special night, Victoria looked as chic as ever wearing this grey and black geometric Antonio Beradi dress and black cropped fur jacket.

Tres chic in Paris.

David Beckham Is The Golden Boy Of English Football

David Beckham will be presented with this unique golden cap to mark his 100th England appearance.

It looks like David will live up to his name Goldenballs, as he is the first player ever to receive such an honour.

The cap is made from gold, rather than the blue used for regular England caps.

The golden cap will go along with his specially-made gold boots and "100th Cap" on his shirt.

He will receive the cap and a trophy at England’s friendly against the USA at Wembley on May 28.

YES I will be there.

I bet many of you are surprised that they receive actual caps. LOL

David Beckham Blogs After His 100th England Game

Hello everybody,

Well, as I’m sure you know, I was picked for Fabio Capello’s England squad for the game against France tonight, which was a great feeling.

As an England player I’ve been lucky enough to participate in three World Cups, two European Championships and captain England, but I still have that excited, proud feeling now when I’m told that I’ve been selected, and this time was no different. For me, there’s no greater honour than representing your country and although you know I hate to lose, tonight still remains a very special moment in my life.

A year ago, I never thought I’d make 95 caps, let alone 100, so it was an honour to play and make my 100th appearance against one of the best teams in the world. It was a very special feeling to be out on that pitch tonight. Not only was it great to start the game and get my 100th cap, more importantly it was great to be out playing for England again.

There wasn’t any shirt swapping from me, even though France’s William Gallas went to swap at the end, I had to tell him I wanted to keep this one, in fact I’m keeping all of my England kit from this special match.

I would love to continue to play for England beyond this game. I don’t want to just play this match, get my 100th cap and then retire, if I’m fit, working hard and playing well I think I can still bring something to the squad.

Finally, I would like to thank everybody for their congratulatory messages as I’ve reached this amazing landmark, I wouldn’t be here without the incredible love and support of my family and friends, and of course all of you that have supported me. Thank you very much.

Take care

David

You're welcome....♥

The Whole Beckham Family Support David At His 100th England Game In Paris

The Beckhams - and the Adams - showed their support for David tonight as he play his historic 100th game for England.

The whole clan was there including David's dad Ted, who would has attended nearly all of David's 100 England games.

What was so sweet was Victoria's reaction here, when she realised David was being substituted from the game.

I guess she knew he would not have wanted to leave the game. Bless her.

Hopefully I will find pictures tomorrow without the tags, the first set of pictures always have tags.
