Victoria Beckham is introducing a line of men's denim, which will go on sale this August.The pants will cost around $250, and are designed to have a roomy fit, inspired in part by how Victoria's husband, David Beckham, prefers to wear his. "I didn't want anything too tight around the crotch," she told DNR. "That really repulses me."

I am definitely buying a pair for my bf, otherwise he wouldn't buy one for himself. I think gay guys will buy them tho. But if David shoots an ad wearing it himself, it'll probably sell pretty good.
Good point Amber, but guys are very macho when it comes to things like this. Can you really see guys buying them and admitting they are by Victoria Beckham jeans?

I think gay guys will definitely buy these. VB is a gay man's style icon and david is a gay man's wet dream. Plus I bet david will probably start wearing them exclusively just like how victoria is a walking billboard for the dvb brand whenever she goes casual. So when paparazzi photos come out with david wearing these jeans, straight men will run to the store to get them.
Like Amber I thought some gay men would buy her jeans. Both her and David seem to have lots of gay fans.
I think they'd have to market them as dvb with the emphasis on the 'D' - have David in the ads and doing the appearances rather than Victoria. Then I think they'd sell to men quite easily.
lol um...if its HEAVILY promted through david in a masculine...look at me im rough and tough and wear DVB....sort of way then sure why not lol...but no overly pretty boys or it wouldnt wrk....
Plus if she gets them just to think of it as Brand DVB and not as im wearing Victoria's jeans then that might work also.....its how they spin it i think...its do or die....they might hit the nail on the head or get it totally wrong.
plus you know bf's are going to be getting them as presents anyway as amber said lol.......so might work out........

actually.. i have a different opinion. just because they're by VICTORIA BECKHAM doesn't mean guys won't buy it. i mean, theyre not called vicbeckham jeans, they're called dVb.
the guys that live in my city wear seven jeans, true religions, rock&republics, etc... so why not dvb as well?
I'm sure people will buy them, VB is a huge star and here in Croatia most men think she's good lookin'. No doubt gay guys will buy it more, but i'm sure straight guys like me will buy it aswell.
Hopefully one day she'll do a full women and men collections.
as long as david is seen in them... guys will buy them. or their gf will buy them for their bf.
i agree with the 'tight around the crotch' part though... i think VB has good taste and im sure she influences david's dress sense (and he looks fab) so the jeans should turn out good.
