The Beckham Boys Are American Idol Fans

The Beckham boys watched a live performance of American Idol this week.

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, who were seated (with grandma and a body guard) away from the cameras in the back of the studio, where they cheered enthusiastically for Megan Corkrey’s “Rockin’ Robin.”

Hell’s Kitchen host Gordon Ramsay greeted the boys during a commercial break.

One Year On And Still Loving LA

It is exactly one year today since Victoria and David Beckham packed up and moved to LA.


Does time fly? It seems like only yesterday.

David Beckham collected his wife from LAX on Friday in a huge jeep.

The couple greeted each other with great big hug. ♥
Awwww, how sweet.

Also in the car was their youngest son Cruz, who was wearing a cute kids’ LA Lakers jersey.

Bad Beginnings For Beckham And Gullit As Galaxy Lose 4-0

Ruud Gullit, David Beckham and their Los Angeles Galaxy crashed to 4-0 defeat by the Colorado Rapids in Commerce City in Saturday's Major League Soccer season opener.

David flew back from midweek England duty to play against the Rapids, while Galaxy coach Ruud Gullit took charge of his first MLS game, but it ended in disappointment.

Terry Cooke scored early in the game, Christian Gomez converted on a penalty kick in the 60th minute, Omar Cummings scored in the 67th and Colin Clark added an 80thminute goal for the Rapids.

The Galaxy's three best scoring chances came from free kicks by Beckham.

"It's always going to be tough when you have international games," Beckham said. "I felt OK for most of the match, maybe not at my sharpest, but it was overall a tough game for us. We created chances, but didn't put them away."

Guess Who's Happy To Be Back?

David Beckham took his first training session with the England squad, since being recalled to the England squad this morning in London.

He looks incredibly happy, and I am so proud that he will get the chance to get his 100 cap for England.

It has been snowing - surprisingly for March - in London today, which is in stark contrast to the sunshine of LA when David left there on Saturday.

England manager Fabio Capello addressed the interest surrounding David's recall and the possibility he'll give the midfielder his 100th appearance for England.

He explained: "It is not my style to call up someone and do them a favor."

"I understand the nation's obsession with Beckham, but I am not obsessed with him. I called him up because I believe he will be useful for the team."

Before leaving LA for England, David enjoyed some quality time with his wife Victoria.

The couple dined together at West Hollywood restaurant STK with fellow Brit Kate Beckinsale and her husband, Len Wiseman on Friday night.

Whilst on the double date, an onlooker noted: "David is still really attentive to her. Her had his arm around the back of her chair and would whisper in her ear. She was beaming, the fire is still there, you can just tell."
