Sorry no I really think this is just media bullshit again.I think people like Angelina, Madonna etc are well intentioned but don't really think about the consequences of removing a child from its original land ,people life.If ANYONE really truley wants to make a real difference go to some of these asylums and so called childrens homes in Romania and countries like that. They arn't pretty or cute and people can't use them like an accsesory. These children have nothing and no-one except a short life full of pain misery and inhuman treatment at the hands of their fellow country men who are supposed to be caring for them. The cute African toddler you give a cuddle to on safari will do fine , they need help too but not removal from everything thats normal to them. Give some of the cash you would have bought a new car or a designer frock towards that worthy cause instead not just for your own benefit(I wanna token black baby, just like Wayne and Waynetta Slob charecters)

Sorry to go on but its just so ignored. I do not mean to suggest the Beckhams will follow suit (famous rich white American adopts poor lil black child). I'm sure the papers just came up with that one. Davids work there is all about useing his own publicity to work up some interest and generate money for that particular cause, I have no doubt. It would do them no good credability or integrety wise to adopt from this situation. There are also hundreds of disabled children and teenagers awaiting adoption in the U.K. Are they less worthy, or just less attractive staus symbols.

i think david is absolutely genuine in most of the things he says and does. Look how genuinely happy he is to be showing those kids how a camera works in Sierra Leone. They don't care who david beckham is, they are just happy someone took the time to be with them and show them new and exciting things.David Beckham is truly a class act!
