Vogue Readers Complain About Cover Girl Victoria Beckham

It has been reported by the Daily Mail that readers of UK Vogue magazine were annoyed that Victoria Beckham appeared on the April 2008 edition.

Apparently the magazine received record number of complaints.

Readers said that if they wanted a magazine with Posh on the front, they'd buy Heat magazine.

Some have even threatened to cancel their subscriptions.

Now although the Daily Mail tends to make up stories about Victoria, I would not be surprised if this story would be true, mostly because people like to automatically be negative to Victoria and crap on everything she does, especially in the UK, which is why I don't blame her for her move to the US.

i love dVb denim and i too am tired of everyone just automatically being negative about the jeans, fabric, etc.

i think she's great and has some real talent.

I think it's ridiculous that people are complaining about Victoria. She's the epitome of class and elegance and high fashion and has every right to be on the cover of Vogue. She is everything Vogue represents in the fashion world. I think people are just jealous for what she has and what she's achieved. She's worked hard to get to where she is and I am sick of people saying she doesn't deserve her fame.

Wow, that is awful, but I can't believe it because it's totally unheard of, I really can't believe you guys would hate her that much. She's hasn't done anything wrong.

It is a gorgeous picture, and anybody who is ready to cancel their subscription over a single magazine cover is a dribbling embicile. I'm surprised that they are able to read with behaviour like that, which indicates a very low IQ and grasp of common sense.

Also, let's consider how obnoxious one must be to throw their toys out of the pram and think their piddling little contribution to the Vogue empire is in any way significant....

As for Victoria's picture... she looks amazing!

The end.

I refuse to believe it is a true story. As a vogue subcriber i was personally over the moon when i heard Victoria would grace the front cover. If nothing else she is a fantastic model, also the article was well written and so i can't believe the majority of Vogue subscribers wouldn't want to know a little more about her and her lifestyle. After all, if you love fashion,(as she obviously does)and think that Vogue is the diffinitive fashion magazine, why would someone like Victoria be excluded? She is, like her or not, very much a fashion icon of the moment, and will,I hope continue to go from strength to strength in the fashion world.

There is no proof it is true, no credible source, nothing official or unofficial from Conde Nast. It's an easy story to make because Victoria is an easy target. And who knows, the magazine sales could've been really good, which shows any publicity is good.

There are always people who won't be happy with certain covers but the Mail exaggerates as usual.

Lima, i saw that shopping video too but of course there aren't any pics of her smiling released.

if, as ridiculous as it is, the story is true... i still think those who complained bought n read victoria's article in vogue.

its just jealousy i think. they probably wish they had what she has achieved...a fantastic husband and family and fame... i think she just makes a lot of woman feel inferior.

Anon, please explain why you complained to Vogue about Victoria being on the cover? I don't normally post anonymous peoples comments, but I am intrigued as to why you would do such a thing, what did she ever to do you?
