David Beckham was not selected for the England squad ahead of Wednesday friendly against Germany.This is not a surprise considering he is not playing club football, as the MLS season has ended.
This means David misses the chance to equal Bobby Moore's 108 caps - a record for an outfield player.
I hope he does get a chance to surpass this record.

ReplyDeleteon a side note: i know we were all speculating the whole beckham/madonna dinner and people.com has confirmed that while they had dinner with marc jacobs, madonna was not a part of their dinner party although she was a few tables away with a music producer
I don't think this is the last we see of David. He will have other opportunities to surpass Bobby career caps... Just not Saturday.
