The Beckhams Go Pumpkin Picking

The Beckham bunch headed to the pumpkin patch in LA yesterday to pick up last-minute Halloween treats.

The one thing I envy about LA is the heat. Today in London was the coldest day of the year, but here is David looking like it's mid August wearing a white tank top and shorts.

I love to see they enjoy family activities like this.

Victoria Beckham's Interview With WWD About The Armani Ads

The Beckham ads — shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in Los Angeles on Wednesday — will be unveiled for the spring season, and are part of Armani’s global underwear push for Emporio Armani.

Victoria said the timing quite literally couldn’t be better for an underwear campaign. "I started running regularly about a year ago and when this campaign came about, I began working harder every day," she told WWD from the shoot. "And this morning I got on the treadmill and said, ‘OK then — this is my last chance!"

"It’s a huge compliment being asked to be in the campaign and to be part of the worldwide campaign for Emporio Armani underwear," she added. "It’s really exciting to me. Mr. Armani is a lovely person and his team is fantastic, so it’s a really exciting project for me to be involved with. And hopefully they will see a huge response."

"Marc Jacobs is a genius and a good friend of mine, and now, to do Armani, is an honor," she said. "I first met Mr. Armani at a store launch in Paris when I was there with Katie Holmes a few years ago. He is incredibly charming. I have so much respect for Mr. Armani and the whole company. To be given this opportunity to work with them is thrilling."

"David’s pictures were fantastic," Beckham said. "He looked gorgeous in them. I was very, very proud and happy for him. He looked amazing."

Before the announcement of David moving to Milan Victoria said.

"Nothing has been finalized as yet, but if we do go, it will literally be for two months, because the season finishes here in L.A. and David will go to train with AC Milan. We are so supportive, myself and the children. It’s a great opportunity for him and we are very excited about spending time in Milan."

Victoria Beckham knows the Italian fashion capital, and has several friends there.

"It would be a wonderful experience for the family," she said. "Obviously, I will be very busy at that time as well, because I will be preparing to show my next collection in February in New York. I have so many friends there, and my experience of Italy is great. I love it there, and it’s great for David."

"We love America, and there have been lots of reports saying that we are moving from America," she added. "We are not. This is where we live. It is for eight weeks, and we’re excited about that. I will be spending a lot of time there and so will the children. The children are big boys now, and they go to school, and will continue their education here in L.A., and we will travel about so we will all be together as a family, but it’s not a permanent move."

And while she is there, she is sure to breathe in some of the fashion spirit that permeates the city.

"The best thing you can give a designer is the ability to travel and experience different cultures, countries, and so for me, it’s huge."

I am very happy to hear that she is going. I was shocked when it was reported that she was not going to go with him.

David Beckham Is To Join AC Milan In January

Here is the official word from davidbeckham.com

David's loan move to AC Milan is now official and the LA Galaxy captain will join the Italian club in January.

Earlier, AC Milan and LA Galaxy released a joint statement, with the following:

An agreement has been reached between the Los Angeles Galaxy and AC Milan for the loan of David Beckham effective in January, 2009.

David Beckham remains under contract to the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer and will return to the club for training and the start of the 2009 MLS season.

AC Milan and the Los Angeles Galaxy have additionally agreed to a technical partnership that will provide great benefit to the L.A. Galaxy.

Call me cynical, but I from that last line, to me it means that the Galaxy will profit in some way from the move, e.g. they will get a slice of the shirt sales.

Fox News are reporting a start date of 7 January.

Can't wait. I may even take a trip to Milano.

Ridiculous Rumour Of The Day

It has been reported on The Daily Stab - Not a reliable source I know - that Victoria Beckham is now following Katie Holmes' footsteps and is reportedly planning on running in the 2008 New York City Marathon this Sunday.

Apparently Victoria has been training for this weekend’s big race and hopes to complete the run that Katie finished last year with a final time of 5:29:58.

"It was meant to be a big secret. She’s been training for months with the main goal of running in the New York Marathon. But, if she doesn’t feel ready, she’s planning to do the one in Los Angeles in February next year…"

No disrespect to my girl Victoria, but I do not believe this for one second. Girlfriend does not even like going to the gym and hates wearing sneakers, how would this ever work?

Well at least the article made me laugh.

David Beckham Blogs

Hello everybody,

So, the MLS season is over for the Galaxy. Unfortunately we didn’t get the win we wanted to end the season with on Sunday, but we played well and showed the right commitment and spirit, so the signs are very positive for next season.

On Monday the club held an event on Monday for the season ticket holders who come out to watch the Galaxy win, lose or draw. It was great to meet so many fans and spend time talking to them. They are incredibly passionate about the club and deserve success, which unfortunately we couldn’t give them this season, but they are positive about the future and hopefully next year we can really give them something to cheer about.

I know there’s been a lot of talk recently about the possibility of me joining AC Milan on loan in January during the MLS break. One of the reasons I want to train and play in Milan for a few months is the fact that the MLS season doesn't run as long as the European season and having played most of my career in Europe, my body has been trained and geared not to have that amount of time off. Obviously, I will be honoured to be given the chance to train and play with the likes of Ronaldinho and Kaka, but it also gives me the chance to keep my fitness up and carry that on for when I come back to the Galaxy for the new MLS season. Of course, nothing is confirmed yet, but there’s already been plenty of talk that I’ve bought a house out there and that I’m buying a jet, none of which is true. I will let you know when it happens.

Next season is an important one for the Galaxy. We haven’t been in the playoffs for three years now and for a team like LA Galaxy we all know that isn’t good enough. Bruce Arena will also have had the chance over the past few months to get used to the squad and, with his experience and previous success, he’ll want to make sure that we’re up there competing next year.

All the best

OMG...Victoria Beckham Will Star In The Next Emporio Armani Underwear Campaign

After a successful run with David Beckham as his Emporio Armani underwear model, Giorgio Armani announced today that Victoria Beckham will be the new worldwide testimonial for Emporio Armani Women's Underwear.

OMG, I could not be more excited.

Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot will shoot the star for the spring 2009 advertising campaign.

"Who better than Victoria Beckham to launch our new global Emporio Armani underwear campaign?" said Armani in a release.

"Victoria is a style icon, a dynamic lady whose influence and recognition will add great excitement to the continued international growth of our Emporio Armani women's underwear business."

This has come from Armani's press office, so this is official people.

David Beckham Watches The Lakers Beat The Trailblazers

David Beckham was one of the many celebrities supporting the LA Lakers kick off the NBA season.

I am so happy, because that means we will get to see many pictures of David court-side.

Also there were longtime Lakers lovers Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Connolly, Denzel Washington, Governor Schwarzenegger and Tobey Maguire.

The Lakers defeated the Portland Trailblazers so David and co, would have been very happy.

Love the beanie hat.

Victoria Beckham fit right in with the other soccer moms, as he watched Brooklyn's soccer game in LA yesterday.

Wearing baggy jeans, a 'What Comes Around Goes Around' t-shirt, flip-flops and a cute headband.

In other news, it has been reporeted that Victoria has already been offered $16 million to host a documentary about her soccer ace hubby David Beckham’s move to AC Milan.

Galaxy Draw Their Last Game Of The Season

David Beckham helped LA Galaxy to a 2-2 draw with FC Dallas in his final MLS game before his January move to AC Milan.

He is due to play two more exhibition games for the Galaxy and then hopes to begin a loan period in Italy alongside the likes of Ronaldinho and Kaka at the San Siro.

David made his first appearance in the States since being on England duty and serving a disciplinary suspension.

He responded by providing the cross from which Edson Buddle put Galaxy in front with a firm header.

Dallas fought back to take the lead with goals from Drew Moor and Victor Sikora. But a 79th minute Landon Donovan penalty squared the match.

It was Donovan's 20th goal of the season, making him as the top scorer in the MLS.

David Beckham For GQ UK December 2008

For the first time since 2002, and 20 years after he signed for Manchester United, David Beckham is gracing the cover of GQ to celebrate the magazine’s 20th anniversary.

Over 12 pages, the LA Galaxy star, discusses everything from Tom Cruise to religious tattoos: “All my tattoos have a religious theme,” he says.

“I’m not too religious. But I believe there is something out there that looks after you.”

Here are some highlights:

David on whether he hopes to develop a film career: "What film career? I haven’t got one. Never say never, except about that! And that’s the way it’s going to stay."

David on mingling with famous friends like Tom Cruise: "He came round for dinner a few weeks ago. But it’s the same with him. We just go round and watch a film. It’s not a big deal, it’s just popping round to watch a film or to mess around and play with the kids."

David on claims that Tom has tried to convert him or his wife Victoria to Scientology: "I respect any person’s religion. Everybody’s got their own ideas. And, of course, Tom is a big believer in Scientology, but he’s never pushed anything on to us about it and he never will do. Friends don’t do that."

David on America: "We’re happy here at the moment, that’s the biggest thing. When your family are happy, that’s all you can ask for."

The full interview and pictures by photographer Peter Lindbergh will be in the December issue of GQ UK, out this Thursday.

David Beckham Escapes A Speeding Fine

David Beckham has finally found an advantage to being chased everywhere he goes by a trail of paparazzi photographers as it helped him avoid getting a speeding ticket.

David was caught driving his black Porsche too fast along Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard by a traffic cop who pulled him over.

Just as the officer was about to hand David a fine, photographers pounced, causing chaos on the side of the road. The fuss prompted the officer to let Becks off with a caution.

Beckham then drove off, to catch up with his wife Victoria, who was leading the Beckham family convoy in her own white Porsche.

Victoria Beckham For Harper's Bazaar Dubai

Thanks to Kat for the picture and Lala for the detective work, we have discovered that Victoria Beckham appears on yet another cover.

This time it is for Harper's Bazaar Dubai. This is a very exciting time for Victoria, as she is now fully embraced by the fashion industry. There was a time when fashion editors were put off by her because of the tabloid status (Heat, Hello & OK! magazines), but she has shaken that off and become a fashion magazine favourite.

I will be on the look out for more pictures for this and the Vogue India magazine, which I have ordered from Borders.

Don't forget we still have Vogue Russia to look forward to.

Regular readers will remember that Victoria wore this Marc Jacobs Resort 2009 dress wtih a massive bow, for the party held in her honour for her Allure Cover Party.

David Beckham Finally Speaks About Milan

OK, from this interview it is clear that David Beckham wants to join AC Milan, as he says so himself.

The reason is and I quote "My body is programmed to actually not have that amount of time off", referring to the long 4 month break in the MLS season.

Surely he was well aware of this break when he joined the MLS, which for me just goes to prove that he joined the MLS believing his England career was over.

davidbeckham.com also has the same interview on its site. David talks again about the speculation linking him to AC Milan on loan during the MLS close season.

Can you explain why you are moving to Milan and for how long?

Well, one of the reasons I want to train and play in Milan for a few months, is the fact that MLS season doesn't run as long as the European season and my body is programmed to actually not have that amount of time off. During the off season, I'm hoping to go to Milan to train and play with them. I've played with two of the biggest clubs in the world, Man Utd and Real Madrid. I've been given the chance to join up with Milan for a couple of months and I'm very honoured.

Why AC Milan?

AC Milan is one of the biggest clubs in the world, I've been lucky enough to play with one of the biggest clubs in England, one of the biggest clubs in Spain and now I'm being given the chance to play with one of the biggest clubs in Italy. I've a great chance to go there, keep fit and play with some of the best players in the world. They've got Kaka, Ronaldinho, Seedorf and also a player with one of the best records in football, in Maldini. To be on the pitch, training field and get experience with those players is a big honour for myself. It also gives me a chance to keep my fitness up and also carry that on for when I come back to the Galaxy and for the MLS season.

Does this mean you are leaving the States?

No, it doesn't mean I'm leaving the States. I'm still very committed to being a Galaxy player. I came to the Galaxy to win trophies and I want to do that. I'm also very committed to my role as the MLS ambassador and I want to do that. You know, things have been great so far throughout the MLS. It's been slightly disappointing on the Galaxy side because we haven't made the play offs again but on the other side of it, the success of the MLS as a whole, the attendances and all aspects have been rising, they are all above previous levels. The MLS is in a great position at the moment.

What are your hopes for next season with the Galaxy?

My hopes for the season coming with the Galaxy is to win trophies. That is a big part of why I'm here. We haven't had much stability in the team. We now have Bruce Arena as manager, he knows the league, he knows the players. We have to push forward here now we are a big club, one of the biggest clubs in the MLS. Now it's important that we move on from here, forget the disappointment of the last two to three seasons and step up to the challenge and it's important we do that.

The Official Word From DavidBeckham.com

Unfortunately, you may have read various stories about David joining AC Milan, with quotes from the man himself seemingly authenticating the stories. Davidbeckham.com can exclusively tell you that these quotes, supposedly from David, have in fact been fabricated.

Although nothing is confirmed at present, we can confirm that talks are taking place with Milan with regard to a short-term loan move at the start of next year.

David very much remains a Galaxy player, and he will be in Los Angeles for the start of the 2009 MLS season.

You can read any official developments as they happen here on davidbeckham.com

OK. Well that puts that story to bed, for now. The way I see it he wants to go, but Galaxy are reluctant to let him go. Please note this is just my opinion and not a fact.

David Beckham Blogs, But Not About The Milan Rumours

Hi everyone,

Well, unfortunately the Galaxy won’t be playing in the playoffs this season. We tried our best, but maybe we lacked a bit of quality or luck when we really needed it. Going forward we haven’t struggled to score goals, but the fact is we did concede too many. That’s not a criticism of the defence though as I think we need to defend and attack as a team.

Obviously, I was disappointed to be suspended for the last game against Houston Dynamo. It was a tough match against the MLS winners of the past two seasons, but I thought the team worked hard and it was frustrating not to be able to play a part and try and help in some way.

On Monday the club held the Galaxy Foundation golf day, which helps raise money for the Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation and is dedicated in giving back to the community. I’m not really a golfer but it’s such a worthwhile day – I even managed to hit a few balls myself in the three-hole playoff with my Galaxy team-mate Alan Gordon. After the golf there was an auction to raise more money for the Foundation so it was a very productive day.

We have FC Dallas at the Home Depot Center on Sunday in our final game of the season and although it will, unfortunately, be our last in the MLS for this year, the whole team will want to put on a good performance to give the fans something positive to remember the season by.

Until next week…

David

The Milan, Beckham, Galaxy Saga Continues

LA Galaxy chief Bruce Arena does not want David Beckham to join AC Milan on loan in January.

The Serie A club revealed yesterday they are in talks with the midfielder, who has been told by England coach Fabio Capello he must be playing regularly if he is to win his 108th cap against Spain in February.

If Beckham does appear in that friendly, David will join Bobby Moore as England's most capped outfield player.

Given that Galaxy's season ends on Sunday and the new MLS campaign is not until April, a move to the San Siro would see Beckham meet Capello's demands.

But Arena fears the effects of playing in Italy could leave Beckham drained when he returns to Los Angeles.

"On the surface, it sounds like an odd proposition," said the club's general manager and head coach.

"I don't see where that benefits MLS or the Galaxy."

"The first I heard about it was yesterday but I would think given the position the Galaxy are in and the fact we're rebuilding our team, it would seem odd if we were loaning out our top players at the start of the season."

If the move takes place it would happen after Galaxy's tour of New Zealand and Australia in December and Beckham would remain in Italy until the American side start pre-season training in March.

Beckham is two seasons into a five-year deal and MLS commissioner Don Garber stressed any switch would only be on a short-term basis.

Garber said: "David remains an LA Galaxy player and will be here for the start of the 2009 MLS season."

I just don't know what to make of this anymore, so I will just wait to see what happens, but if they stand in Beckham's way, this could spell the end of this MLS career, imo.

New David Beckham Milan Reports

It has been reported this morning that Victoria Beckham will stay in LA when David moves to Milan in January.

The couple are said to be unwilling to uproot Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz by taking them out of school or away from friends just a year after their move to America.

The deal, expected to begin in January, could see Beckham spend up to four months in Europe away from his family.

It will mean he gets an immediate, if brief, re-entry into the realm of the top European football and to play for one of its most renowned teams, nicknamed 'the rossoneri' after their stylish black and red kit, alongside other global stars like Ronaldinho and Kaka in the vast San Siro stadium.

The Beckhams Are Milan Bound

As blogged earlier in the week David Beckham will be moving back to Europe. Milan to be precise.

Both sides said today the deal was still not finalised, but the aim was that Beckam would join in January for two month loan.

He will need to return to the United States for their new soccer season in April, but I would prefer that the deal be made permanent.

The planned deal was disclosed by Adriano Galliani, the AC Milan president, who said: "He will be a club player for a few months and then leave. Beckham chose Milan."

"Our team is ultra competitive and will remain so but Beckham is something different and intriguing. AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti added: 'For me it would be a pleasure to have Beckham here, he is a serious athlete, a great professional. If he were available for months we would be very happy."

David is determined to keep his place in the national team and a spell on loan in Europe during the close of the Major League Soccer close season will help him to maintain his fitness for the national side.

Here he is training with his Galaxy team yesterday.

David Beckham's Bentley Is For Sale

On Auto Trader there is a 2002 Bentley for sale for £99,000. The former owner is easy to tell from the embroidered name Victoria in the upholstery.

David’s customised the £170,000 car with another £70,000 of accessories and personal touches, such as a fridge, diamond cross handles and televisions in the rear headrests.

The 6.75-litre, 170mph Arnage T was the same car the former England captain drove to Buckingham Palace with his wife when he collected his OBE in 2003.

But the 2.5 tonne, 450bhp behemoth, which only has 25,000 miles on the clock, fell out of use when Beckham moved to America last year.

It is one of only two Bentleys pictured on the carmaker's factory wall - the other being the Queen's.

Chris Foxall of sellers Motor Village in Dudley, West Midlands, said: "It's absolutely fantastic."

“I've had the car for a couple of weeks but only put it on sale two days ago because I've been enjoying driving it myself.”

“This was built especially for David Beckham. There have been a couple of owners since Becks sold it but it still has all his finishing touches."

“He even had a child seat embroidered with his son's name, Brooklyn. It's amazing and was owned by a proper superstar.”

The Beckham's Dine Out In London

I was in Paris having a break and just got back to see Victoria Beckham wearing some kick ass Christian Louboutin for Rodarte spikey heels, which are just gorgeous.

The couple dined out on Friday night at one of their favourite London restaurants, J. Sheekey's in Covent Garden.

He was a cool navy blue suit, and she in a cute lace dress, spikey hair and spikey boots to match.

This is why I love the Beckham's in London as we get FULL pictures. No pictures of them in cars coming out of underground parking areas, which I hate. We would have totally missed this look has she worn this out in LA.

What I love about this look is the contrast of the feminine girlie dress with the aggressive boots.

What I also love is that Toby is back and David smiling for a picture for a fan as he walks with his wife.

Geri Halliwell and Little Britain star David Walliams were also at the restaurant.

David Beckham To Train With AC Milan or Arsenal?

There have been lots of reports today that David Beckham is seeking a move back to Europe in order to prolong his international career.

It has also been reported that David will join AC Milan in January to train with them, - whilst he is on Christmas break from the MLS - and they are going to try and make the move permanent after missing out on him two years ago.

Despite the Beckham's saying that they are very happy in the US, the lure of first team top European football will appeal to Beckham and he would relish the chance of playing in Serie A.

It has also been reported in the Daily Telegraph that David's advisers are in talks with Arsenal about training again with Arsene Wenger's side ahead of the friendly against Germany in Berlin on Nov 19.

If selected, Beckham would equal the 108-cap outfield record of World Cup-winning captain Bobby Moore. He is also interested in joining a Premier League club and is looking to get permission from LA Galaxy.

These stories are not confirmed, but I would not be surprised if any were true.

When Estefania Met Victoria Beckham

The beautiful Estefania was very kind to share her encounter with Victoria Beckham at Ekseption boutique yesterday.

"Victoria arrived half an hour of delay because of the terrible traffic. There were dozens of fans at Ekseption´s door with all the press, because they couldn't go inside the shop".

"Victoria was spectacular, she wore Marc Jacobs shoes, dVb jeans (of course), white shirt and a little black vest. She wore a headband on the hair and she was so beautiful, so sweet..."

"Victoria was absolutely lovely with everyone, she posed in a thousand pictures with her fans in the shop, she signed a lot of autographs, and she smiled all the time ... fantastic!!!. I'm so happy, she posed with me, she signed on my book (that extra half an inch, of course) and she signed in a new jean I bought while I was wearing it!"

Estefania thanks for your stunning pictures, I am so happy you decided to share them with us all.

You are very lucky and it sounds like you had a great experience, I am very very jealous, but extremely happy for you at the same time, and I am sure the other VB fans are too. :)

In Victoria's Closet - Balenciaga Lune Clutch

Apart from her sharp ensemble, cute headband and Marc Jacobs heels, Victoria Beckham was carrying a gorgeous Balenciaga Lune Clutch.

The blue/black goatskin with patent leather details clutch, has a gold plated metal hardware twist-lock closure with Balenciaga engraved on it.

If you have $995 this could be yours.

Hi everybody,

Well, it’s job done as far as the England games go for this year. We’ve also set a record for an England team as we have never won our first four World Cup qualifying games in a row before. The great thing is the team are playing well again and without fear. We’re not just beating teams by the odd goal either, but winning comfortably and that kind of confidence we can take on into the rest of the qualifiers.

Last night’s game was one of our toughest matches. We didn’t know too much about the Belarus team, but we did know that they are a good passing side with great support. Everyone knew their job though and went out and played another great match. Although the result is always the most important thing, it’s great if you can entertain the fans as well and the manager has certainly got us playing good football.
The atmosphere was amazing and there’s such a feel-good factor around the squad that everyone wants to be involved.

Today I’m back in England at Wembley Stadium where I have just hosted a lunch for 200 kids to launch my new range of foods called GO3. The meals are designed to get busy families to eat healthier and more balanced diets. As a dad myself I know how hard it can be to get your kids to eat the right things and, obviously, as a footballer I also know that you need to eat the right things to perform well, so hopefully these foods will help families take small steps to be healthier.
I hope you all get a chance to try them out…

Best wishes,

David

David Beckham Launches GO3 At Wembley Stadium

David Beckham was at Wembley Stadium, where he launched a new healthy food range with 250 lucky school kids.

Holding a plate full of yummy fish fingers, the LA Galaxy player talked about the importance of healthy eating as he launched the GO3 range.

At the launch David said: "As a Dad I know how hard it is to get kids to eat the right things".

"I also know as a footballer, how important it is to eat the right things to perform well, so I think the GO3 range is a great way to help families take some small steps to be fit and healthy at affordable prices."

I am suddenly very hungry.

David Beckham Plays 5 Minutes Of Belarus vs. England Game

David Beckham played about 5 mins of the FIFA2010 World Cup Qualifying group six match between Belarus and England at the Dinamo Stadium.

He replaced Wayne Rooney during their substitution.

I wish I could say more, but that is about it. He had no time to make any kind of impact.

England won 3-1. Gerrard got one, Rooney got 2.

Victoria Beckham In Madrid

Here is Victoria Beckham was leaving her hotel in Madrid today.

The fashion designer is in town to promote her dVb by Victoria Beckham Fall collection at Ekseption at 5pm this afternoon.

Victoria seems to be loving the masculine look, as she wore another black waistcoat/black pants combo with her Balenciaga clutch.

But this time she wore a shirt.

Great look.

Victoria Beckham Launches dVb In Germany

Victoria Beckham arrived for the launch of her Fall 2008 dVb denim collection at Jades boutique in Dusseldorf, Germany today.

She look fabulous wearing a satin collarless tuxedo jacket with a matching waistcoat, black tie and no shirt. Fashion foward as always.

I believe this was a private event, so I am not sure if there were any fan signings.

Her next launch event is in Madrid on Thursday, were she will appear at Ekseption at 5pm.

David Beckham Blogs From Belarus

Hi everyone,

Well, I’m still with England at the moment as we’ve a big game against Belarus tonight and, of course, we’ll be looking for another win. So far, things have gone well for us in the qualifying matches with three wins out of three and plenty of goals scored.

The match against Kazakhstan at the weekend was our first qualifier at Wembley and although we couldn’t break the team down in the first half I felt once we got the first goal we controlled the match. I think the expectation was that we’d win 5-0, but once we didn’t get the early goal it took a while to create the chances. In the end though, the result was a good one and we’re in a strong position in the table.

Obviously, I was pleased to get on the pitch and get involved. It’s one of the things that substitutes are for, to come on and create chances, so I was pleased that I was able to do that for the team.

Away from England, I was delighted that the Galaxy won on Sunday. Although I love playing for my country it’s hard when my club is playing when I’m away and I can’t contribute in some way. It was brilliant to see them win though and that means we’re still in with a chance of making the playoffs. Other results have to go our way but we’re not out of it yet, so well done to the team.
That’s all for now.

Take care,

David

In Victoria's Closet - Chanel Kelly Bag

Victoria Beckham landed in London's Heathrow today wearing a mini cardigan which she did not need in LA. To be honest she did not need it in London today as the weather was very mild.

The fashion lover was carrying a Chanel Kelly bag, which are not as common as the classic flap, and they are much more elegant.

The Beckham's Housekeepers Arrested

Not sure how true this story is but it has been widely reported.

A couple who worked as housekeepers at David and Victoria Beckham's mansion have been arrested on suspicion of stealing personal items from them for sale on eBay.

Victoria's parents Tony and Jackie Adams raised the alarm after they spotted trinkets and items of clothing for sale on the internet auction site which they recognised.

When Mr and Mrs Adams travelled to the Beckhams' seven-bedroom home they discovered the items were missing and alerted police last Friday.

You just can't trust anyone it seems.

David Beckham Plays Only 10 Mins As England Beat Kazakhstan 5-1

When David Beckham finally came off the subs bench in the 79th minute, replacing wonder kid Theo Walcott, he received the biggest cheer, which just goes to show that we will always love and appreciated what David has done for the England team.

It was nice how the fans gave him an ovation every time he touched the ball

The midfielder rewards the fans by producing many dangerous crossing.

It was in the 86 min he made the greatest impact when his free-kick, sets up Wayne Rooney for our 4th goal.

Tonight David won his 106th cap, equaling Bobby Charlton's record.

Only Peter Shilton (goalkeeper) with 125 caps and Bobby Moore (defender) with 108 caps, have more than caps than David.

I am not sure he will reach 125, but I hope he will go past Bobby Moore at least, to be the second most capped player for England.

Victoria Beckham On The Cover Of UK Glamour

Victoria Beckham is on the cover of UK Glamour magazine's November 2008 issue.

Unfortunately, it is the Allure cover via German Glamour cover.

Surely they could have taken some newer picture, or at least other picture from the editorial.

I will be buying the magazine tomorrow - hopefully my scanner works.

In the magazine Victoria Beckham talks about her love of vintage fashion, her boys and putting on those PVC trousers again and why she cried during the Spice Girls reunion tour.

She says that David Beckham’s her soul mate...ahh how cute.

Mischa Barton Criticizes Victoria Beckham's Style

Mischa Barton has taken aim at Victoria Beckham's style, claiming that the ex-Spice Girl is not a 'good example of British style'.

The bizarre outburst was reported by The Sun, in which the London-born actress told the paper: "Posh doesn't strike me as particularly stylish."

She then commented on her own dress sense, by adding: "I don't dress for anybody else, and I think the reason people like my style is that I do my own thing."

Me thinks Mischa Barton has no claim to talk about style, when she lacks it herself.

Hi everyone,

Well, the match against Columbus Crew was always going to be a tough game. We knew how good they were as a team, and how well they are playing at the moment. They’ve already qualified for the playoffs and are full of confidence. Unfortunately we made a mistake right at the end of the first half and they scored. We had our chances though, which was good to see, we just didn't put them away. Obviously it’s another tough defeat for us, but at least we showed great character.

We’re still in a position where we can qualify for the playoffs, but it’s going to be very tough and everyone has to play at the top of their game in the remaining matches.

I’m away with England now, so I’ll miss the game against Colorado Rapids, but I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for the lads and hope we get the right result.
This is the first time the England lads have been together since the matches against Andorra and Croatia, and we'll take the confidence from those games and go for two positive results against Kazakhstan and Belarus

I’ll let you know how the matches go.

All the best,

David

VIDEO: Behind The Scenes Of Intimately Beckham

This is an old video - clearly from the hair cuts - but I just found it on Lainey's Gossip.

Enjoy....so so hot

HE'S ARRIVED

David Beckham arrived in London this morning after a dismal game with LA Galaxy on Saturday, and after learning he was included in Fabio Capello's England squad last night.

Dressed in a checked shirt and jeans, David was as hot as always.

David is hoping to play for England in the home game against Kazakhstan on Saturday, but may be sidelined for football's new hope Theo Walcott, who scored a hat-trick over Croatia last month.

In Victoria's Closet - Marc Jacobs Shoes

Many of you may not have noticed Victoria Beckham new shoes, from the candids earlier.

They are from the Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 collection, and they are grey with gold bows on them.

The heel is the amazing part, as they look like pins, but if anyone can work wear these dangerously high heels and make them look like slippers, it's our girl Victoria.

Anne Hathaway, who is also a fan of Marc Jacobs, was also spotted wearing these shoes in cream recently.

David Beckham Gets England Recall

David Beckham was named in Fabio Capello's England squad, much to the surprise of many football journalists.

Many see David's England career to be over, but Fabio keeps the faith in Beckham, which will not doubt give the play a much needed boost after the Galaxy are doing very badly in the MLS.

Here is the full squad:

James (Portsmouth), Green (West Ham), Carson (West Brom); Brown (Man Utd), Johnson (Portsmouth), Terry (Chelsea), Ferdinand (Man Utd), Lescott (Everton), Upson (West Ham), A Cole (Chelsea), Bridge (Chelsea); Beckham (LA Galaxy), Walcott (Arsenal), Barry (Aston Villa), Jenas (Tottenham), Lampard (Chelsea), Gerrard (Liverpool), Downing (Middlesbro), Wright-Phillips (Man City); Heskey (Wigan), Crouch (Portsmouth), Rooney (Man Utd), Defoe (Portsmouth)

David Beckham's England Career Maybe Over

Photobucket Image Hosting

England coach Fabio Capello had indicated that David Beckham’s time in the national team may be over, after praising young winger Theo Walcott as a star of the future.

It has been suggested that Beckham's main role could be mentor, as he was to Walcott in Zagreb when Walcott praised Beckham for the way he unselfishly helped him prepare for the biggest game of his life despite being left on the sidelines himself.

Since then Beckham has said he would be happy to step aside to allow Walcott to flourish but also insisted he wants to continue as an England player, even from the bench.

Capello names his squad later today at 7pm (GMT), so we will see if David features.

Galaxy Lose Against Columbus

The Galaxy lost 1-0 to Columbus Crew yesterday.

The Galaxy have just one win in their last 15 matches despite the presence of international stars David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Eddie Lewis.

Saturday's loss means LA will miss the playoffs a third straight season.

Other bad news is that David will miss the next Galaxy game as he received his 5th card of the season.

David Beckham Blogs

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re all well.

There’s a lot to talk about this week so let’s start with last week’s game against Chicago Fire. I thought we played well in certain parts of the match, but unfortunately their players capitalised on the few bad spells we had and these are the moments that cost us. We’re running out of matches now so we need to pick ourselves up and win, starting this weekend against Columbus Crew.

Last Friday my wife Victoria and I were in New York on our time off. I have to say a big thank you to everybody that turned up at Macy’s - I was amazed how many people came out to see us, especially as it was a horrible day weather-wise. So thank you to all the people that stood in the rain for hours for the very warm welcome.

Nearer to England, I was honoured to be asked to present an award at the Pride of Britain awards last night. It’s great that people, who really make a difference in this world and are often unsung heroes, get the chance to shine. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Carl who won the Bravery Award. He performed an incredible act of bravery when he risked his life to save a complete stranger who collapsed onto a live railway line. If he hadn’t acted when he did, then the woman, who had fallen onto the track, would have been hit by a 100mph express train which was station bound minutes after she fell. He managed to find the strength and determination to lift the lady up onto the platform and get clear of the railway line himself 30 seconds before the high speed train zoomed through the station. Now we would all like to think if something like that happened we’d be able to help, but I have to say what Carl did was nothing short of amazing, so it was an honour to meet this incredibly brave teenager. He, and the other winners at the ceremony, are an inspiration to us all so a massive congratulations to everybody that won.

Take care,

David
