Hi everybody,

I joined some of the best players in the MLS last week to play in the All-Star game in Toronto against West Ham United. It was a great experience and a really good game, which we won 3-2. It was brilliant to play alongside players such as Dwayne De Rosario and Juan Pablo Angel, who have been so successful and are real stars in the MLS.

While we were in Toronto, Jorge Flores from Chivas USA, Jim Brennan of Toronto FC and myself visited a hospital for sick children in support of the MLS W.O.R.K.S programme. It was a very humbling experience to meet many of these children, though it’s always incredible to see the kids’ strength of spirit. I was honoured to be there and I’m pleased that the MLS has set up a programme, which, hopefully, brings a smile to the children’s faces.

On Sunday I was back with the Galaxy for a league match in Texas against Dallas FC. Unfortunately, we didn’t start the game well, couldn’t get going and didn’t deserve to get anything from it. Credit to Dallas, they played incredibly well and were the best team on the day. We’ve a lot to work on, but we need to be positive and go into our next game against San Jose Earthquakes in the right frame of mind. I’m already looking forward to it.

That’s all for now.

Take care,

David

The Beckhams Attend Kate Beckinsale's Birthday Celebrations

David and Victoria Beckham were just two of the guests invited to Kate Beckinsale's 35th Birthday celebrations at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills on Friday night.

The other guests were Kate’s hubby Len Wiseman, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, and Dustin Hoffman, who brought his wife Lisa Gottsegen.

Victoria looked beautiful as always wearing a colourful Balenciaga dress with her pink Versace platform heels.

You may remember Victoria wore these pink Versace heels when she went to lunch with her kids at Pink Taco, back in May.

Eva also stood out wearing a yellow dress, but the birthday girl wore a black dress.

Here is a video of the party departing the hotel.

Victoria Beckham On The Cover Of Hello Canada

BIG massive huge thanks to Pierre, who scanned Hello Canada for us all to read Victoria's interview with the publication on her first year in the US.

I know how hard it is to scan in this many pages, so much respect to Pierre for doing this on my behalf.

Yes, pictures are tagged, because unlike me, others don't like to give credit and will upload the pictures to other sites as their own.

A few of you have expressed disappointment at not being able to comment, so commenting for all is now restored.

Who Wore Roland Mouret Better?

OH NO SHE DIDN'T.

Victoria Beckham will ALWAYS be the Queen WAG. None of the other WAGs can compete.

Even though Victoria is in the US, they are STILL copying her style.

Victoria Beckham first wore this stunning primrose yellow RM by Roland Mouret dress to the ESPY Awards a few weeks ago.

Alex Curran is the wife of Liverpool Football Club midfielder Steven Gerrard, wore the same dress today when she attended her husbands graduation ceremony in Liverpool, as he collected his university honorary fellowship for his contribution to sport.

Easy win for Victoria, but I bet she is laughing her ass off at Alex's attempt to copy her style.

Victoria has the better looking husband too.

*WAGs (or Wags) is an acronym used particularly (but by no means exclusively) by the British tabloid press to describe the Wives And Girlfriends of the England national football team. It came into common use during the 2006 World Cup, held in Germany, although it had been used occasionally before that.

In Victoria's Closet - Miu Miu

Victoria Beckham was at the Grove wearing a Pucci dress, but she was also carrying a Miu Miu bag from the Fall 2008 collection.

These bags are not even out yet.

Victoria loves Miu Miu bags, you might remember last season she carried the Harlequin Miu Miu bag. from Spring 2008.

MLS All-Stars Beat West Ham 3-2

David Beckham and his MLS All Star teammates hit the field in Toronto last night for their big game against West Ham United.

If the question was asked who is better the MLS or the Premiership. The MLS team answered by winning 3-2.

David had an assist in the game and of the game he said, "I'd read about the last five years not losing so I was kind of nervous and hoping that we would win. As soon as we started I knew we were capable of winning it because of the quality we've got in the team."

Watching from the stands was Canadian Rachel McAdams.

East End Boy Becks, Looks Forward To Playing East End Team West Ham

Leytonstone-born midfielder, David Beckham is relishing the prospect of tackling West Ham in tonight's MLS All-Star clash in Toronto.

Beckham enjoyed some success against West Ham with Manchester United, scoring five goals in 16 appearances against the Hammers, and he is looking forward to locking horns against the East London club again.

"It is great, being an East End boy playing against West Ham so many times for Manchester United and also scoring against West Ham which didn't go down well with a few friends, but it is always nice to play against a quality team," Beckham told Sky Sports News.

"They are a team that has got some good players and they are working towards the start of the Premiership, so of course it is great to play against good opposition."

"It will be a tough game and we are looking forward to that. You always want to play against good players and good teams and we are against that."

"Any player involved in All-Star games wants to play well and you are always going to come up against a good team, so West Ham are a good team and I am sure they will be running around a lot working on their fitness for the start of Premiership."

"All the players that are here are experienced enough, they are good enough players to realise it will not be a walk in the park."

"It is going to be a tough game and one as an East End boy I am looking forward to."

"Victoria Beckham Is Sweet" Says Naomi Campbell

Naomi Campbell was the guest editor of the Daily Mirror's showbiz section yesterday and used the opportunity to speak her mind about about many things including her BFF Victoria Beckham.

The supermodel said: "When I was going through my hard time recently she was immediately on the phone asking me how I was doing and saying, 'I hope you're well'. She was sweet. We share girl stuff and she is so funny - people just don't know her or get her."

Naomi is not the best role model, but it is so sweet that Victoria took time to check in on her.

David Beckham Blogs

Hi all

Last week I attended the ESPY 2008 Awards in LA and was pleased to win the award for Best MLS Player. It is always an honour to be recognised by people for playing the sport I love and to get the support of the fans.

It was also great to see so many people come out to see the match against Red Bull New York at the Giants Stadium on Saturday. On the pitch it was an exciting match to play in, we did really well in the first half and were disappointed to go in at half time with the score at 1-1. They came out in the second half and got another goal, but we kept on battling and showed character once again to come back and equalise. Landon Donovan could have won it for us at the end and was really unlucky to see his shot hit the inside of the post. Overall though, both teams had chances, so I think a draw was probably the fairest result.

Next up, is the MLS All-Stars game, which myself, Landon and Edson Buddle have been selected for. We play West Ham United in Toronto and I’m really looking forward to the match, as it’ll be the first time I’ve played against them since I left Manchester United. They are always a very competitive team, so it should be a great game.

We then travel to Texas on Sunday to meet up with the rest of the Galaxy team before we play FC Dallas in the MLS. We beat them 5-1 in our previous match this season. I think it was one of our best performances so far, so we’ll be trying to put in a similar performance.

That’s all for now.

Take care,
David

Part 3

This is a nice 3 part interview in which David Beckham talks about life, his career, his family and his charity to help get kids in shape.

Victoria Beckham's Goes Au Naturel

Yesterday I told you that Victoria Beckham was hanging out by a pool at a LA hotel over the weekend in shorts, while relaxing with her mother Jackie and son Romeo, well here are the pictures.

Victoria took herself off glamour duty during a family day reclining poolside without her heels or make-up and she still looks gorgeous.

This just goes to show that Victoria is very much relaxed in LA, as I can never imagine her doing au naturel in the UK

Victoria Beckham Hangs Out With Her Family

Whilst David Beckham was battling it out with the New York Red Bulls, Victoria Beckham, her sister and her went relaxation and shopping in LA on Saturday.

The family kicked things off poolside at one LA's five-star hotels. Victoria kept things cool by donning a sexy pair of denim short-shorts, a comfy black tee and an oversized leopard-print handbag.

After relaxation, it was a quick wardrobe change and off to the mall to do what Victoria does best — shopping!!

Again the style icon kept things casual as she traded in her usual taliored look for a pair of baggy jeans.

Beckham Helps Galaxy Draw Against The Red Bulls

The highest gate of the season watched David Beckham's Galaxy team come back in the last minute to earn a draw against the New York Red Bulls last night.

The attendance shows just how much interest that Beckham has generated for football in the USA, and they were rewarded with a fighting 2-2 draw.

Beckham was pleased after the game: "There were chances for both teams but we showed a lot of character. We were disappointed to go in 1-1 at halftime because they scored through our sloppy play."

"Then we came out second half, they got a goal but we kept on battling and we didn't look as if we were going to get a goal but we did in the end."

"It showed the character in the team, especially when we're not playing as well as we can, to come back. So overall, maybe a draw was fair tonight."

Landon Donovan got the equaliser in injury time thanks to a cross which fooled everyone and floated into the back of the net.

"It was a cross, of course," Galaxy coach Ruud Gullit said. "But he kicked it so well, if Edson had touched it, it would have gone in as well."

"So the keeper didn't know what to do. Just the quality of the play itself made it difficult for the goalkeeper."

Galaxy nearly won it too. In the dying seconds Beckham sent in a cross which Donovan connected with his left foot, but it came out off the post.

The ex-Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel scored for the Bulls to emphasise that the Premiership is having more and more effect on the MLS, and they are now getting the crowds to rival some of the best in Europe.

David Beckham's Long-Term Plan Is Still To Raise The Profile Of Soccer In The US

On Friday, prior to the New York Bulls game, David Beckham held a press conference and spoke about soccer in the US a year after him playing in the MLS.

"This season, I've been able to play in every game, take part in 99 percent of the training sessions. "I've enjoyed it. Soccer is definitely changing in this country. It's getting bigger and it's growing. But it takes time. I've said that at the start."

"As long as the fans are here and as long as they're watching the game, whether it's because of celebrity or whether it's because they want to watch the Galaxy play or whether it's just because they want to watch a soccer game, it's so important that people turn out and enjoy the game most of all," Beckham said. "We had a great crowd last year and hopefully we'll have a good crowd this year. But we need to win the game and that's the biggest thing for us. Hopefully they'll come and enjoy themselves and see a Galaxy win."

And Beckham said he's committed to helping MLS grow in the coming years, as well.

"It's a long-term plan to raise the profile of this game in this country. "I think it's going well so far."

That has happened already -- and not only off the field. The level of competition in the league, he said, is a bit underrated.

"I've always said the level is a lot higher here than people actually think it is. Being here you see some of the talented players that are in this league and some of the talented teams. Every game is a tough game and of course we do want to get to the level of other leagues in the world. It will take time, but we're not that far away."

Will This Trend Catch On?

David Beckham is regarded as one of the best dressed men in the world, and while Victoria continues to opt for more chic fitted look, David keeps to a more relaxed style of low-slung jeans and a simple shirt.

Stepping out for dinner with Mrs Beckham earlier in the week David continued with his current ensemble of choice. Jeans? Check. White vest? Check. Open-neck, messily tucked in shirt? Check.

However, on closer inspection it appears more attention is given to his outfit than you’d give him credit, you might even call it an a trademark style. His shirt may look like it’s been hastily tucked in but if we look back at previous pictures of the David, this appears to be a recurring theme.

David always lets the right side of his shirt hang out over the jeans.

Is he starting a trend, or is he always in a hurry and forget to tuck the right-side in?

During the ESPY Awards, which Justin Timberlake hosted, he impersonated and teased many of the guests.

After teasing David Beckham by thanking him for improving the popularity of soccer in America, by "this much" as he held his thumb and finger a tiny width apart, singer went down into the audience and kissed David’s foot, much to the amusement of Victoria.

Looking at the camera from his position at the feet of Mr and Mrs Beckham, Justin said:
"That’s what $250 million dollars tastes like."

Victoria & David Beckham On The Red Carpet At The ESPY Awards

It was all all eyes on David and Victoria Beckham last night, as the Best Dressed Couple attended the 2008 ESPY Awards in LA.

Victoria's yellow Roland Mouret dress is divine, but I wish she would have at one point on the red carpet lost the oversized sunglasses. Yes it was very sunny in LA yesterday, but it was a little OTT for me.

I adored her gorgeous up’ do.

Overall this Audrey Hepburn look is stunning. Much kudos to her for the dress and for smiling.

David was equally handsome in his three-piece suit, which had a white waistcoat. Although he came with sunglasses, he kept them in his hands the majority of the time on the red carpet.

I love how he hugs little Connor - Tom Cruise's son - when he sees him on the red carpet.

The event was hosted by Justin Timberlake and airs on July 20.

The Beckhams Eat Out Again, But David Still Finds Time To Update His Blog

It is so cute to see both David and Brooklyn Beckham smiling as they tend to have stern faces whenever the annoying paparazzi are around.

Victoria looks stunning, as always, in back with a short pink dress on. The thing I miss most about London is that none of the restaurants have underground parking, so we would have seen this beautiful dress :(

David updated his blog again today and here is what he said:

Hi everyone,

It seems like only a few weeks ago I arrived in Los Angeles with my family ready for the next chapter in our lives. A year later and we feel so settled here, everyone loves California and everyone has made us feel so welcome. I can’t imagine being anywhere else in the world right now.

Of course, I’m enjoying playing my soccer too. Last season was a bit stop start for me with the injuries which wasn’t helped by the fact that I arrived part way through the MLS season, but this year we’re playing well and I look forward to every match as well as visiting different cities and stadiums around this amazing country. You can see a real impact being made across the country, we play in front of big crowds and soccer is now more prominent in the media and more people seem to be aware of the league around the world.

My teammates have been great to me and we have a brilliant set of fans. I’m thankful to them and to the people of Los Angeles for making my family and I so welcome since we arrived here.

We played Chivas USA last Thursday in the second SuperClasico of the season at the Home Depot Center, which we both share. It was the sort of game that could have gone either way, but I think overall a draw was a fair result. I was happy with the way we came back from a goal down as it shows we’re playing with the right spirit and we’re confident that we can always fight back if things don’t always go the way we want.

Next up we’re off to New York to play the Red Bulls on Saturday afternoon. Last year was a particularly memorable, 67,000 people and nine goals, it summed up the potential for the game in the States. I’ve heard that 50,000 tickets have been sold to date for this game so it’s promising to see that people are coming back to see games. We lost to New York earlier in the season, so we’ll be going all out to get the right result.

I’m also looking forward to my first All Star game next week in Toronto. It’s great that we’re playing an English side in the form of West Ham, a team that I’ve played many times before in the past…I even remember getting a bit of stick from their fans on a few occasions! I’m sure they will want to come over and put in a good performance, whilst we will want to show the quality of the MLS. It should be a competitive game.

Well, that’s all for now.

Take care,

David

Kitson Drop Victoria Beckham's dVb Mens Collection

It's that Fraser Ross again.

Ross has confirmed that Kitson will not carry Victoria Beckham's dVb menswear line because of dwindling demand. So although this week a dVb rep sent out a statement that read,
"The dVb men's collection is on target to launch in stores for holiday 2008 as scheduled,"
they won't launch in Kitson. And when The Cut called the dVb rep to find out what stores the line would land in, she was unsure. She nervously said the line is being shopped around to retailers right now. That means it's unclear which stores will wind up buying it and selling it. That also means it's possible no stores will buy it at all.

TMZ just reported, "dVb is stripping any mention of Victoria off the [men's] jeans actually to help sales." But the dVb rep asserts the line will still be called "dVb by Victoria Beckham," remaining unchanged.

Oh the confusion.

It seems the house of dVb is spending a lot of time these days trying to bury negative press.

The majority of you thought that dVb men's jeans was a good idea according to my poll, but I was always and remain skeptical. This bad press, just goes to prove that it is more trouble than it's worth.

Victoria will always appeal to girls fashion, but not to guys.

More Extracts From Victoria Beckham's Allure Interview

On her family life: "At the moment, we're fine, the five of us. At some point, I'd love to have a girl, you know – just for all the clothes I've got to hand down. It would be tremendous fun. I've got great girlie advice that I can share."

On her non-smiling Posh persona: "I kind of created this character at the beginning of the Spice Girls. I didn't smile very much; it was quite pouty. I was famous for wearing a little black Gucci dress. [Except] it wasn't a little black Gucci dress, it was a little black High Street dress. It was incredibly cheap. I just accessorized it well and had the pose that went with it. [...] Of course I smile. It's just that they don't use those pictures. It's a better story to say that I'm a miserable cow. I get it."

On Project Runway: "[It] shows how hard you have to work in fashion. These designers don't have money. They don't have huge budgets. Some of the challenges are there just because they're fun for TV. Is anybody ever going to be asked to make a dress out of candy? Of course not. But it makes good viewing. I see Heidi quite a lot, and her kids. Really lovely family."

On a 1997 photo of her with the Spice Girls: "You know, fashion changes. Rather than ever looking back at my clothes and cringing, I look back at the makeup and cringe. It looks like someone beat me up and pushed me onto the stage."

On her personal style: "If I'm going to an event, it takes me about an hour and a half to put my hair up and have some makeup put on … I don’t have a stylist. I deal with that side of things myself. [...] I have a photographic memory [for clothes]. I can remember what everybody wears, all the time."

David & Victoria Beckham To Attend The ESPY Awards Tonight

We all knew that David Beckham was due to present an award at the ESPY Awards tonight, but thankfully my wish has come true and Victoria will also walk the red carpet with her husband.

The couple have a front row seat next to Wimbledon champion Venus Williams.

Other attendees are Zac Efron and Ashanti.

It is funny how they list Victoria's occupation as singer. I bet she will be having that changed to fashion designer.

Teresa's De Ju Vu On Victoria Beckham's Allure Shoot

Teresa's eagle eye pointed out that one of the pictures of Victoria Beckham on her Allure photoshoot, bears a strong resemblance to Balthus' 'Golden Days' painting.

I guess the photographer used this pictures for inspiration.

Teresa wanted to give you credit for this observation, because others will not when they take it off this site and put it on other Beckham sites.

Victoria Beckham Will Launch Her Men’s Line On Schedule

It was reported the launch of Victoria Beckham's dVb menswear line had been pushed back since retailers weren't interested in stocking it.

Kitson in LA, it was reported, was supposed to launch the line this fall but would push it back until next year. But today a rep from Kitson told us the report was inaccurate and the dVb men's collection is in fact on target to launch in stores for holiday 2008 as scheduled.

Good news for those of you wanting the mens line.

Victoria Beckham Back In LA

It looks like Victoria Beckham sneaked back to LA undetected. And still no one knows what she was doing in London.

These pictures are of the couple leaving Il Sole restaurant out the back door where photographers, fans, security and their Rolls Royce Phantom are waiting for them.

The couple looked like they had a good evening with David helping Victoria to their car.

Such a gentleman.

Victoria Beckham's Allure Photo Shoot

Here is another picture of Victoria Beckham from her Allure photoshoot.

Normally the website uploads the whole photoshoot, but this time they have only uploaded two photos.

The magazine has not got to the UK yet, so I will bring you the rest when it does.

Here are some extracts from her interview with the mag:

On how she’d describe herself: “I’m incredibly ordinary, a normal-looking girl, and I just make the best of what I have.”

On the rumors of her never eating: “I’ve been accused of not eating for 10 years. If I hadn’t eaten that long I’d be awfully hungry.”

On wanting a fourth child: “I’d love to have a girl - just for all the clothes I’ve got to hand down.”

David & Brookyln Beckham Eat Out Again

With Victoria Beckham still in London, David and Brookyln both went out for dinner again last night.

They ate out a Benihana, were they no doubt had some fun daddy son bonding time over some sashimi.

The boys arrived in David's Rolls Royce which is his favourite set of wheels at the moment. The car is so huge it is almost like a trunk.

David Beckham Is Very Happy In The US

In an interview with The Sun newspaper Beckham clan are happier than ever and he has no regrets about his decision to move the family stateside.

"We are really settled, I must admit. There’s not a single regret," he said in an interview with The Sun.

"People questioned why I came over here so early, but they were asking a few months before whether I could play at the top level."

"You’ll always have a few people who doubt you. But everything is positive and I am so happy here. Victoria is happy here and likes working here."

"The kids are happy in school and they love their life here."

But the former Manchester United star admitted that he often misses home.

"I still love Sunday roasts. Victoria cooked one for the boys the other day but I was away. I was quite jealous of that."

"I will always miss England. Everyone knows I am passionate about my country and playing there. I miss my family, friends and a good old English pub."

dVb Mens To Be Shelved Until 2009

The most unreliable source when it comes to the Beckhams, The Daily Mail, claims that the dVb Mens launch has been put back until next year because retailers were unwilling to stock it.

To be fair to the Daily Mail this story was first reported by Chinadaily.com

Tom Cruise Watches David Beckham Play On His First Anniversary In The US

David Beckham friends supported him yesterday as he celebrated his first anniversary in the United States.

The Galaxy star was cheered on by son Brooklyn, Little Britain star Matt Lucas, TV producer and friend Simon Fuller as well as Tom Cruise and 13-year-old son Connor as his team played a tense derby against league rivals Chivas USA, from a VIP box at the Hope Depot Center.

The eclectic group shared in California as David played at the home LA Galaxy stadium.

The derby ended 1-1 draw in the clash.

The two teams now remain level at the top of the Major League Soccer's Western Conference table.

The Chivas had made their first goal when Ante Razov slotted the corner in the first in the first 15 minutes. From that point onward, the Chivas did a great job at shutting down the Galaxy offensive.

After 70 minutes, the game really started heating up. Galaxy player Edson Buddle managed to equalize the game on a wonderful assist from Pete Vagenas, finally tying up the game.

Hi all

Hope you are all well?

We have been working hard in training this week particularly following the last few games. We really need to concentrate more as a team when we play – otherwise it leads to losing games like we did last Friday.

This week should be a good one though, we are playing Chivas USA in the SuperClasico, which is always a fiery game, being that it’s the local derby! I’m sure they’ll be ready for action too after our 5-2 victory over them last time – they will be wanting revenge but we will be ready for them. The Home Depot Center will definitely be buzzing that evening!

Take care

David

Victoria Beckham's Plane Drama

Apparently there was some drama on Victoria Beckham's plane from LA to London.

As her plane was about to take off a bird flew into one of the plane’s engines.

Passengers screamed as the pilot slammed on the brakes and the plane screeched to a halt.

The sad thing is that a lot of newspapers are making light of the fact that Victoria was in her PJs and had removed all her make-up.

You can read The Sun and the Daily Mail's versions of the terrifying event.

Victoria Beckham Lands In London

Victoria Beckham arrived in London today with her two boys wearing the same outfit she wore when she watched David play on their anniversary.

Despite this ensemble being a re-run I love this in a chic sweater/belted skirt combo with matching Hermes and heels.

Her boys also coordinating themselves very well, wearing matching yellow polo shirts, jeans, and white sneakers.

I am not sure what her plans are yet, but I will keep you posted.

Behind The Scenes At David Beckham's Birthday Party

The Beckhams feature in the August 2008 edition of UK Harper's Bazaar magazine which I purchased and scanned for you all.

Sorry about the heavy tagging, but too many other Beckham sites take stuff off my site, upload it as theirs without crediting where they got it from.

These pictures were taken after the Costume Institute Gala which was the same week as both David Beckham and George Clooney's birthday's, so both guys were presented with a birthday cake. David's had a cute stars and stripes cake.

As this was a party, I was hoping to see at least one picture of Victoria smiling, but there is not one.

David Beckham Scores On His Anniversary, But Galaxy Still Lose

Adam Cristman scored twice (33rd and 37th minutes) in the first half for New England to defeat LA Galaxy 2-1 in a battle of MLS conference leaders.

David Beckham produced his fifth goal of the year in the 66th minute for the Galaxy.

The game was said to be very poor and the post-game fireworks show was the main thing that entertained fans at Home Depot Center on Friday because apparently the Galaxy barely put in 45 minutes of effort in front of 27,000.

They were dominated in the first half before regrouping in the second when forward Landon Donovan, who missed two days of training with the flu, entered the game and set up a goal.

"Maybe it's the belief," David Beckham said after the game. "Maybe it's down to a lapse in concentration."

Of course Victoria was there to cheer on her man.

With the underground parking we can not see her red dress, but they way the paparazzi were going crazy, I think it was better that way for their own safety.

HAPPY 9th ANNIVERSARY TO POSH & BECKS

David Beckham married Victoria Adams on this day, 4 July 1999 at Luttrellstown Castle, Ireland.

David's then teammate Gary Neville was the best man, Louise Adams, Victoria's sister was the bridesmaid and the couple's son Brooklyn, then four months old, was the ring bearer.

Victoria's wedding dress was a beautiful champagne coloured custom made dress in satin designed by Vera Wang.

David's wore an ivory and cream suit. Both later changed into purple outfits for the wedding reception. It has been reported that Vera Wang designed them.

Victoria Beckham Hits The Shops As Her Allure August 2008 Issue Goes On Sale

I do not have the pictures yet, as it takes a while for American magazine to come to the UK, but Victoria Beckham is on the front of the August 2008 edition of Allure as I had predicted a few weeks ago, so American readers go get a copy and let me know what it's like.

Victoria Beckham was at the Grove yesterday with a friend, (might be Larry Sims) and Romeo.

Tomorrow is Victoria and David's 9th wedding anniversary, but poor David will be playing with the Galaxy at home against New England Revolution, but I am sure they will celebrate after the game.

David Beckham Blogs

Hello everyone,

We travelled to Washington D.C. to play D.C. United on Sunday afternoon and felt confident going into the game and, despite going a goal down early on, we managed pull a goal back and get into the game. Credit to D.C. though, they are a very good team and were better than us on the day, particularly in the second half. Obviously it was very hot out there, which didn’t help, but we just didn’t play well enough.

It was a great atmosphere though and it was great to see so many fans at the games. It’s brilliant that people support the Galaxy, but we still need to win games, that’s the most important thing.
I’ve also been visiting my US Academy recently and watched the kids at various sessions. I always enjoy popping along and seeing how things are going. I like to get involved as much as possible too and we had a great question and answer session with the kids one afternoon, which is always fun.

It really is so rewarding to see so many kids enjoying learning about soccer.

Until next week,

David
