Has David Beckham Returned To The US?

The Daily Mail is reporting that David Beckham has pull out of his scheduled charity arrangement this evening to return to the US.

If true, David has left his fans and the charity disappointed. Reports say he pulled out last minute - with no explanation - as he headed back to the US to be with Victoria.

This act of flying off to be with his wife is similar to when he was sent off against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup in France. The Spice Girls were touring America and when England went out he was blamed so he flew to meet Victoria. When he faces disappointment, he only wants to be with his loving wife. ♥

David was set to replace Thierry Henry at the "Liv" charity event when the Barcelona player could no longer attend after Barcelona's Copa del Rey match has been moved to tonight.

Like I said, I am not sure if this is true, but looking at the pictures from the picture agencies of this event, David is not in any of them.

Maybe he is just avoiding the press, maybe the story is true, who knows right now.

Spokesman for the event Shervin Behzad said: "David was definitely expected to attend this evening.

"But we just got a phonecall to say he was on a plane back to America and we were left without any explanation."

This seem conclusive, but you can not trust the British press. I will check reports again in the morning.

I would not blame him is he just left. He must be crushed for not being included in the squad, especially after all the effort he has put in over the last few months to keep himself fit.

Again Capello is an A**hole.

David Beckham Is NOT Included In Capello's First England Squad

I am so gutted for David.

This might have been David's last chance to reach 100 caps and Fabio Capello has denied him.

I will not be going to this game.

Capello dropped Beckham because of doubts over his match fitness.

Capello said: "The reason that David is not in the squad is because he has not had any real match practice since playing in November".

"When I spoke with David on the phone yesterday I advised him that he is still part of my plans and once he is playing regularly in America we will look closely at him again."

Another Tattoo For Victoria Beckham?

The tattoo saga continues.

It looks like Victoria many have had another tattoo, this time on her back.

This picture is from the Spice Girls Boston concert last night.

You can clearly see a bandage on her back, maybe covering the new inking.

I hope if it is a tattoo that it is not too big, as that bandage sure looks big.

The Explanation Behind David Beckham's New Tattoo

David Beckham showed off his new six-inch tattoo the other day and it all got us wondering;

a. why another tattoo and;
b. what does the tattoo mean?

Well I can reveal that is actually a picture of Victoria on his arm which is wrapped around an existing Hindi inscription of wife's name.



As you can see from the close up, the image is a copy of his favourite photo of his wife - a Brigitte Bardot-inspired shot - she did for Pop magazine four years ago.

The £2,500 image is Beckham's 11th tattoo by his personal tattooist Lou Malloy.

Mystery solved. Now I just have to find out what Victoria's tattoo means.

The Spice Girls Accused Of Lip-Syncing

You are going to read it somewhere else, so I might as well post it here.

Last night at the Boston gig, the audio at the Spice Girl concert cut out.

As a result people are now saying that the concert is not live and that the girls are lip-syncing. Perez Hilton mentions the incident on his site also.

According to the comments on You Tube the confetti broke the sound machine.

One said "I was sitting in the front row... they looked so confused. I think a fuse was cut when the confetti exploded.. the speakers went out. Oh well.. they did amazing. It came back right at the end when they finished with "HI C YA HOLD TIGHT".

I was close enough to tell that they were not lip-syncing, so I will put this down to a technical fault.

Did anyone go last night?

David Beckham To Replace Thierry Henry At A Charity Event In London

David Beckham will replace Thierry Henry at the cystic fibrosis charity dinner at The Dorchester in London on 31st January.

Henry had to pull out of the charity event due to a change in the Spanish league's fixtures which means he will now have to play this today.

He asked David to host the event in his absence and David said yes.

Henry was quoted as saying:

"As soon as I found out I couldn’t be there I contacted David and he was only too happy to fill my shoes. That’s the sort of guy he is."

Victoria Beckham Meets Her Fans At Saks Fifth Avenue In Boston

Victoria Beckham sported all black and wore her stylish Gucci black gloves when she greeted her fans at Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston today, to promote her DVB collection.

I love what she is wearing, but I wish she had opted for colour. She looked so amazing at the New York signing in white and silver, this outfit is more sombre.

Victoria would have loved the fan in the picture above who is crying. In one of her funny video's (VB in Japan 07 - Make up time) on her dvbstyle website she said:

"It was amazing at the airport - there were lots of lovely Japanese people there to greet us. There were tears. I always like that, I think that it shows you are a true fan when you cry or when you pass out. When the paramedics are called I think that is a good sign, it shows real determination as a fan."

Hopefully no paramedics were needed today.

After the signing Victoria will no doubt take a break before the Spice Girls play the Fleet Center tonight in Boston before heading out to Canada.

David Beckham Returns To London And Updates His Blog

Hi everyone,

I have just returned from Brazil where over the weekend I unveiled the plans for a brand new sports complex and Academy. It’s an incredible project of which I am very proud, catering for professional athletes as well as Brazilian children via a scholarship programme, which will include local schools just like my Academies in London and Los Angeles. And like them, my Brazilian Academy will be open to people whatever their ability.

It’s going to be an amazing complex, with state of the art facilities, and I’m very happy that it will be built in the beautiful country of Brazil, where, as I’m sure you know, some of the greatest footballers of all time were born.

Back in the UK, I’ve also been keeping to my training schedule at Arsenal’s London Colney ground. I feel fit and sharp and that is due to hard work and also thanks to training with one of the fittest squads in Europe.

David Beckham At The Opening Ceremony Of 'David Beckham World of Sport'

Here is David Beckham making a speech during the opening ceremony of the first "David Beckham World of Sport".

He looks very dapper in his 4th outfit of the day.

First his cool Marc Jacobs t-shirt with sexy naked wife on the front, then his Abercrombie and Fitch shorts whilst showing off his ball skills on the beach, then the black suit he wore for this Sky News interview and now this grey suit for the opening ceremony.

Becks does not travel light.

David Beckham told BBC Sport that he is fit and ready to play for England next week despite having no competitive action since November.

New coach Fabio Capello will name his first squad on Saturday for next Wednesday's friendly against Switzerland and Beckham hopes to have the chance to win his 100th cap.

"I'm as fit as I can be. I'm fit and sharp and I'm ready to be selected," he told the BBC.

"I have been training with one of the fittest teams in Europe, I've done everything possible to be fit and I am without doubt ready for it, but it's out of my hands now," he said.

Newspapers have speculated this week that Capello, who left Beckham out of the Real Madrid while he was in charge of the Spanish club, might not pick the midfielder.

He would be a damn fool not to. But as I have said before the would be a very brave man not to pick David and deny him of his 100 cap.

It looks like David was struggling with the a little bit.

David Beckham To Build A Training Centre In Brazil

This is so adorable.

David Beckham is wearing his wife's Marc Jacobs charity t-shirt. You can't get much cutier than that.

I also notice that he is sporting new tattoos. Seriously, how many does one person need?

David is currently in Brazil. These photos were taken of him today as he was leaving his hotel in Natal, northeast of Brazil.

Why is he in Brazil?

David will open in Brazil the first "David Beckham World of Sport" a professional sports complex designed and planned with his input.

David said in a press conference in Brazil that he does not intend to teach Brazilians - who have won a record five editions of the World Cup - the sport. He only wants to develop the sport in the South American country.

"I am happy Brazilian children will benefit from access to the top class facilities and coaching at this resort," Beckham said.

The project is to be financed by the Norwegian group Brasil Development. A luxury resort is to be built at the beach Cabo de Sao Roque, in the town of Barra de Maxaraguape, some 50 kilometres from Natal.

It will include Beckham's World of Sport, featuring eight football pitches and a stadium to fit 10,000 spectators. The facilities will include a football academy that local children will be able to attend.

David who already has academies in London and Los Angeles.

Brazilian Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello is also expected to take part in the project in his native country, with the Rubens Barrichello Driving Experience.

Who Wore Roberto Cavalli Better? Victoria Beckham or Julie Christie

Victoria Beckham wore this sequined Roberto Cavalli black tuxedo jacket with sequins on the lapel to Roberto Cavalli's Fall 2008 Menswear show in Milan two weeks ago.

She wore her jacket with a black shirt unbuttoned to her midriff, black trousers, black pumps and her hair pushed back off her face with a silk scarf.

SAG Award Best Actress winner, Julie Christie wore the same jacket with a white buttoned shirt, tapered black trousers and a pair of black sandals.

Personally I think both women look great, but Victoria looks damn sexy in her ensemble.

The Spice Girls Are Back In The US

Victoria Beckham, her kids and the rest of the Spice Girls departed the UK and arrived in Boston ahead of Wednesday's show.

Victoria has a meet and greet in at Saks Fifth Avenue Boston tomorrow at midday, before heading to Canada for their next show.

All families were present except David, who stays in the UK to fight for his place in next Wednesday's England v Switzerland game.

The team is yet to be announced.

The Spice Girls are still feeling the backlash from fans in Buenos Aires in Argentina, Cape Town, South Africa, Beijing and Shanghai in China, in Hong Kong and in Sydney, Australia, were all told to expect dates and are listed as possible destinations on the band's official website.

But, as of yesterday and several weeks after the start of the tour, none had been scheduled.

The band's spokesman confirmed the group did not currently have any firm plans to visit the remaining cities.

"There are definitely no dates set as such. But this is the way they have been doing the whole tour. I think the dates are planned to happen. There are no dates done yet. But I think they are planned."

We will just have to wait and see.

Victoria Beckham Gets Naked For Marc Jacobs

Back in November I reported that Victoria Beckham was going to go naked for Marc Jacobs

After modeling for Marc Jacobs' spring 2008 advertising campaign, Victoria Beckham strips off for the 'Protect The Skin You’re In' t-shirt campaign.

"Since we have moved to California, I have realized how important it is to practice safe sun for myself and to keep the skin of my three boys well protected as well," Victoria said. "Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in Marc and Robert’s initiative."

Victoria's shirts will go on sale this week at Marc Jacobs boutiques for $35.

The initiative was started by Robery Duffy to raise money for The Interdisciplinary Melanoma Cooperative Group at New York University.

Victoria joins the likes of Dita von Teese, Selma Blair, Naomi Campbell, Winona Ryder, Julianne Moore and Christy Turlington who have also posed nude for the Marc Jacobs t-shirts.

Victoria Beckham Talks Jeans

Boston.com recently interviewed Victoria Beckham prior to her appearance at Saks Fifth Avenue, Boston on Wednesday.

When I see you in paparazzi pictures, it seems like you're usually wearing Dior or Cavalli instead of jeans, so I'm wondering where the interest in denim comes from?
To be honest with you, I've been photographed in lots in jeans. I love fashion, from jeans to couture to nice day dresses. I couldn't find a good pair of jeans. I was very specific about what I wanted, and I couldn't find it, which is why I decided to go into making jeans.

How involved are you in the design of the denim and the glasses for dVb?
I'm very involved right from the start. There's not a button or a rivet that goes on a pair of jeans that I haven't seen or approved. I test everything on myself. I don't just put my name on things. I pick all the denim myself. For me, that's fun. That's why I'm doing this.

I thought you were doing it because you needed the money. I heard David's soccer contract wasn't very lucrative, and you're not making much from the reunion tour.
(Laughs.) Listen, if that were true, I'd be selling it in a lot more stores. That's been the great thing about the position that I'm in. I haven't had to sell out. For me, it's so exciting. We're in the best stores in the world.

Will you eventually introduce other lines, such as your own ready-to-wear line?
Yes, I've been thinking about it for a long time. I'm just putting a team of people together now. So it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month's time.

On the current tour, all the girls do a solo number, but you stroll the catwalk instead of singing. Was it your decision to emphasize fashion over music?
I've had solo records that have been very successful, but I'm not in the music industry anymore. I'm in the fashion industry. I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls, because I didn't want to send out a confused message. The reason I decided to do this tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once. It's the last opportunity that there will be to see the Spice Girls together.

Ever since you and Katie Holmes became friends she has started dressing like more of an adult and less like Joey from the Creek. Is that your influence?
Katie and I have hung out, we've been shopping together, and we've been to fashion shows together. Katie has a fantastic sense of style. I don't think I particularly influenced her.

Is there a particular outfit from your Spice years that you look back on and just kind of cringe?
I like to think it was all good at the time. But I'll look at the makeup and think 'My God, look at all that bloody makeup' or 'Look at that hair.' So I'll cringe a little bit. When I look back on all those pictures, I realize that's what made me who I am now. I'm proud of that.

In response to that stupid first question, she wears her own jeans all the time.

Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Mel B Have Lunch In Manchester

Yesterday Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, and Mel B had lunch at the funky Japanese restaurant Sapporo on Liverpool Road in Manchester.

Mel B was reportedly dressed in that shocking pink suit from her appearance on Good Morning America - with her her red Louboutins.

Stylish Victoria however, decided to change and wore a navy version of the RM by Roland Mouret Moon dress. (I make that 3 now).

Mel B's husband Stephen Belafonte, Victoria sons Romeo and Cruz, and Emma Bunton's beau Jade Jones joined the 3 ladies for lunch.

Where was Geri?


She was on nanny duties.

She took out her baby, Bluebell Madonna and her fellow Spice Girls' kids Brookyln and Phoenix Chi out for a shopping trip with her mum around Hamleys inside House of Fraser on Deansgate, Manchester.

David was out yesterday to - he used his spare time to pop over to his favourite Manchester shop, Richard Crème designer menswear on Bridge Street.

This is what I miss about the Beckham's being in the UK.

Tomorrow night is the last night of the Spice Girls European leg of their world tour. One more month to go before it is all over.

The Spice Girls Make £50m From O2 Gigs

The Spice Girls have pocketed £10 million each for their 17-night run at London's O2 Arena, it has been claimed.

The girls played their final gig at the former Millennium Dome on Tuesday night.

An O2 Centre source said the five - Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham - have made £50 million between them.

That eclipses any other star who has performed at the venue.

"Barbra Streisand had high ticket prices but only did three nights while Prince did 21 nights but sold tickets for next to nothing".

"Not many groups can sell out 17 gigs at £75 a ticket, it's quite an achievement," the source told the Evening Standard.

Geri said recently the comeback tour had nothing to do with money.

"The truth of the matter is, to put on this tour has cost £18.6 million," she said.

"We have done this purely to celebrate our fans, the music and ourselves. This is not a money-making expedition. It really isn't. Hopefully we will break even but it has never been about that."

According to The Sun newspaper Victoria Beckham spent £250,000 on a gun-metal grey Rolls-Royce Phantom for David.

Apparently the registration plate RRR1, stands for Romeo’s Rolls-Royce.

I wonder how Brooklyn and Cruz feel about that. LOL

No doubt it is to thank him for his support during the Spice Girls tour prior to her leaving for the US.

David will be staying in London to fight for his place in next months England squad for the game against Switzerland on 6 February.

Screen Caps Of The Spice Girls On Good Morning America

As I said in an earlier post, the Spice Girls were on Good Morning America today to promote their tour.

They were broadcast live from Manchester, were they have one more gig after tonight's show before jetting off to the US and Canada to complete their tour. This interview may have been to secure a few ticket sales for those shows yet to sell out.

There are not any video's of the interview You tube yet, but the minute I find one I will post it.

Victoria appears to be taking center stage, which will no doubt annoy Geri Halliwell.

She is wearing a black version of the RM by Roland Mouret Moon dress she wore to David introduction to LA Galaxy and looks sensational, even sitting down.

In my opinion - even with these not so clear pictures - I can tell that the rest of them are so poorly dressed.

Do they not have a stylist on this tour?

I’ve just returned from visiting Sierra Leone in Africa as part of my role as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

I was honoured to be invited and though I saw many problems and issues to tackle, I was heartened by the incredible and selfless work UNICEF and other agencies are doing on the ground to help. I was also humbled by the people of Sierra Leone who despite the problems they face, keep smiling and are hopeful for the future. They made me feel extremely welcome in their country and I will never forget the experience.

One in four children die in Sierra Leone before they reach the age of five and many of the diseases that children suffer can be prevented. I genuinely hope that by visiting the affected areas and spending time with some of the people there, it will draw the world’s attention towards the problems children face not only in Sierra Leone but similar situations across the world.

Eva Longoria Watches the Spice Girls in Manchester

It looks like Eva Longoria could not wait until the Spice Girls returned to the US, so she went to the Manchester show, to see Victoria and the Spice Girls perform at the MEN Arena.

Eva Longoria is in the UK promoting her new movie Over Her Dead Body. I am sure the girls have not been spending much time together lately, with their respective busy schedules, so I bet they had a lot of catching up to do.

Victoria sure had a busy day. She was the Fashionista in Paris at lunchtime to view Roland Mouret's fashion show, then in the evening she was Posh Spice, performing with her girls.

What a great life she leads.

How tall is Eva? Victoria is 5ft 4ins and towering over Eva and they are both wearing heels.

I wonder what Victoria made of Eva's new bangs. Me? I am not crazy about them at all.

Victoria Beckham Attends The RM by Roland Mouret Spring 2008 Fashion Show In Paris

Victoria Beckham was joined by fellow fashionistas Claudia Schiffer and Dita Von Teese (her NBF) at the Roland Mouret Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2008 collection in Paris today.

She looks amazing wearing a RM by Roland Mouret grey tweed dress, standard large glasses and a sexy nude lips.

I LOVE the lips. Girlfriend is always bringing us something new.

No doubt, Victoria will be ordering the whole collection.

After the show came to its end Victoria Beckham picked out the Kleber cocktail dress in primrose yellow double crepe, with an origami-pleated neckline and full-length zip at the back, as her favorite.

"But it’s hard to pick," Posh told press, adding, "because really I think I want them all."

Take is all honey, you can afford it.

There were two yellow dresses in the show, so it could be either one of these, both beautiful.

Victoria Beckham To Be A Bridesmaid?

According to the London Lite newspaper, Victoria Beckham - along with the other Spice Girls - are going to be a bridesmaids to Melanie B.

Mel B is planning a £200,000 celebrity wedding this Spring. She is already married to "producer" Stephen Belafonte. They got married in a "quickie" Las Vegas ceremony in the Special Memory Wedding Chapel on 6 June last year, but friends and family were furious that they were not included, so this event will be for them.

She wants to get married in the UK - to no doubt ensure maximum press exposure - but has yet to decided on a venue.

David Beckham Appeals To Us All Not To Turn A Blind Eye To The Poverty-Stricken Children of Africa

David Beckham today appealed for the world not to turn a blind eye to "shocking" child mortality rates in developing nations as he returned from a visit to a poverty-stricken west African country.

He said tens of thousands of young children were dying every day across the world, mostly from preventable conditions.

His comments followed his visit as United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) goodwill ambassador to Sierra Leone, a country where more than a quarter of children die before their fifth birthday.

"We can't turn a blind eye to the tens of thousands of young children who die every day in the developing world mostly from causes that are preventable," he said.

"In Sierra Leone, one in four children dies before reaching their fifth birthday - it's shocking and tragic especially when the solutions are simple - things like vaccinations against measles or using a mosquito net to reduce the chance of getting malaria".

"Saving these children's lives is a top priority for UNICEF and as an ambassador I hope I can help to draw attention to this issue across the world."

During his four-day visit, he spent time at a health clinic learning about the most common causes of these deaths, such as malaria, diarrhoea, malnutrition and vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles and TB.

He joined two health workers as they travelled into a local community to vaccinate children unable to attend the clinic.

At a feeding centre for severely malnourished children he saw babies who had survived on water because their mothers were undernourished and unable to breastfeed.

Unicef UK executive director David Bull said: "We are grateful to David Beckham for shining the spotlight on the unacceptable number of young children who are dying often needlessly in Sierra Leone and other developing countries".

"Everyone can play a role in changing this situation governments, donors and the public".

I am so proud of him, and knowing the sensitive man/father that he is I am sure he shed a tear or two.

Rumours are buzzing that the Spice Girls will soon be purring those famous words "Because We're Worth It" after agreeing to appear in a multi-million pound promotional campaign for L'Oreal.

With over a month to go, the girls would do well to captilize on the Spice Girls bandwagon, and make as much money as possible.

They will no doubt relish the chance to appear in a worldwide campaign, especially Mel B, Mel C, Geri and Emma who had been very much forgotten about until the reunion tour was announced.

David Beckham Visits Sierra Leone As UNICEF Representative

David Beckham came face-to-face with the grinding poverty of Sierra Leone on Saturday and witnessed the work being done to try and alleviate the misery of a 12-year civil war.

"He arrived yesterday as an ambassador of Unicef to see our work in the field. He visited several child survival programs in the north of the country, around Kabala, near the border with Guinea," said Alison Parker, a spokesman for the UN body.

Beckham, who has been a Unicef ambassador since 2005, is visiting centres which care for malaria sufferers, a disease which kills at least 800,000 children under the age of five each year in sub-Saharan Africa.

I am so touched by David for doing this, he is such a great man. He could easily just send a cheque and not be actively involved, but he wants to be involved.

He is truely a man to be admired.

David Beckham did not train on Thursday with Arsenal Football Club, as he was not well. (he also did not attend one of the shows - damn he must have been very ill)

He missed Fabio Cappello's visit to the training ground. The new England coach wanted a tour of the facilities, as he will use them when he prepares his England squad for the first time, against Switzerland next month.

There were rumours that Victoria passed the sickness onto David, as she apparently threw up on stage.

Dad David Beckham took his boys Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz shopping in the Gap in London's Docklands this week.

It looks like David is sensible by buying his kids Gap Kids clothes and does not spend thousands on designer gear like most celebrities do for their kids.

Madonna Watches The Spice Girls In Concert

The Return Of The Spice Girls tour got an extra boost of Girl Power yesterday evening when the queen of pop, Madonna and her family were in the audience at The O2 Arena in London to watch the girls perform.

It’s not the first time Madonna has seen the Spice Girls in concert, and the girls were delighted once again to perform in front of one of pop’s biggest icons.

The Return Of The Spice Girls tour is directed and choreographed by Jamie King, who has worked with Madonna since 1996 and has directed her last three world tours.

David Beckham Blogs

Hi everyone,

I’m sure you have seen it in most places but I was very proud and honoured last week, to be invited to Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

Mr Brown then returned the favour by visiting my Academy in Greenwich on Thursday and seeing the facilities for himself. I gave him the tour of the venue and he also met some of the children that were taking part as part of the Schools Programme. We both had a great question and answer session with them, which was really good fun.

Away from the Academy I’ve been continuing my training at Arsenal’s London Colney ground. I’ve been doing some work with the squad as well as plenty of gym work to build up my fitness in advance of the new season.

The Spice Girls officially launched Sport Relief 2008 today with stars including Leona Lewis, Davina McCall, Alan Shearer, James Cracknell, Tess Daly and Mark Ramprakash.

Sport Relief 2008 is a site encouraging everyone across the UK to sign up for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.

Yesterday, a lot of people wondered why the Spice Girls attended the Cavalli menswear show and what they were doing on the catwalk at the end.

For the official word, Suzy Menkes from International Herald Tribune caught up with the girls and Cavalli at the show to quiz them about their collaboration, and more importantly to ask Victoria Beckham what she really thinks of her hubby appearing in billboards in his Armani pants. It has been reported in an Australia that the Spice Girls may not be touring there after all.

A journalist there says:

"Let’s face it, scheduling a massive one-off concert like this in a country so far away was never going to happen, unless they tour the whole country, the Spice Girls won’t be stopping off in Australia."

The journalist suggested the original false announcement was a clever tactic to increase album sales before Christmas.

With the cancellation of the original date, and the fact they continue to book new dates in Europe and America, could this really be the case?

The Spice Girls Attend Roberto Cavalli's Menswear Fashion Show In Milan

On the Spice Girls day off they flew to Milan to attend the Menswear Fashion Show Fall 2008 collection of Roberto Cavalli.

Mel B sported a new hair do (not sure I am liking it) and Victoria wore that head band she sported on New Years Day. Not crazy out the outfits, I was hoping they would wear something from Roberto's colourful Spring 2008 collection.

I am not sure if the tour is taking its toll on Victoria, because she looks a little tired. Or maybe she is pissed that Mel C is wearing a similar outfit to her.

What was the purpose of this trip?

Publicity of course.

Male Fan Throws His Pants On The Stage At The Spice Girl Concert

I just found this picture on the internet and it reminded me of a funny part of the Spice Girl concert I forgot to tell you about.

A guy threw his pants on stage and Victoria Beckham (surprisingly) picked them up.

She held it up with the tips of her fingers then one of the other girls, Mel B I think, playfully pushed it into her face.

She said she would give them to David as it might be his size, but if not then she'll use it to tie her hair up when cleaning the bathroom and that it is good to recycle.

She then gave the pants to one of the stewards and asked them to leave them in her dressing room.

So funny.

Speaking of David, Emporio Armani are showing at Men's Fashion Week in Milan today. Hopefully David will attend.

Jack Nicholson Re-nicknames Victoria Beckham 'the Poshster'

Victoria Beckham styled Jack Nicholson last year for his Parade magazine shoot.

He recently spoken of his admiration for Victoria Beckham after the pair struck up a friendship.

Nicholson said 'the Poshster' was "charming" and "lovely".

The 70-year-old actor added cheekily: "She feels very good too. She's a very firm person, you know. She's in good shape."

He said he loved the photoshoot and went on: "I loved working with the Poshster! And she was charming to me - dressed me up nice. I like to look good so I felt in good hands under her umbrella. A lovely gal."

David Beckham Takes Brooklyn To Watch Arsenal vs. Birmingham

David Beckham took oldest son Brooklyn to the Emirates Stadium (15 mins from my house) to see a Barclays Premier League match between Arsenal vs. Birmingham City, to enjoy so precious father son time.

I have been to the Emirates stadium many times, so I know it very well.

David and Brooklyn could have stayed in many more secluded (and warmer) parts of the stadium, like the Director's box, (they would have definitely been offered seats in there), a private box, or the Club level seats, which offered free food and drink before the game and at half time (the level I always sit in), but they shunned all that to sit close to the pitch and enjoy the game like a regular fan.

Gotta love that they are keeping it real.

Despite staying out late yesterday, David also trained with Arsenal this morning.

Victoria Beckham Is To Appear On The Cover Of Vogue UK April 2008

Like I was not excited enough today, but now I learn that Victoria Beckham will get her own Vogue cover.

She is due to grace the cover of the British edition.

The spot is reserved for top models and legendary stars, Posh Spice has cemented her place as a style icon. Eat that Mr Blackwell. Just goes to show he knows nothing.

A source told the Mirror newspaper: "Victoria's doing the fashion shoot this week with top photographer Nick Knight who's shot stars like David Bowie, Kylie Minogue and Kate Moss.

"The cover will be on the April issue of Vogue and the magazine is planning to dedicate 12 pages to her".

"It's rare for Vogue to use someone other than a model for the cover, so it's a real coup for Victoria."

The shoot is also rumoured to be Posh's most risque and edgy to date - in other words we'll being seeing a lot more of the Spice Girl than is strictly necessary!

Hopefully it will not be a a damp squid like the Elle US spread.

As it is an April edition, I will be on sale around the first week of March. I will be stalking my newsagents to get this magazine.

Was David Beckham At My Spice Girls Concert?

Heck yeah.

Me and my sister were in seat 55 & 56, the last 2 seats of my row, so we could clearly see the exit isle.

When the lights went down for the start of the show, I noticed David Beckham and 3 bodyguards walking very quickly to their seats.

I was not able to take a picture of David at this moment, as it all happened so quickly.

He had one of his trademark beanie hats on, so despite the guards he slipped in unnoticed to most people in my area.

As Spice Up Your Life was winding down for the final song, I kept an eye on the exit isle.

I first noticed Victoria's dad leaving, so I fully focused on the isle, forgetting about the concert, then I saw Brookyln run towards to VIP exit, then David was walking towards us, with both Cruz and Romeo in his arms. You could have knocked me down with a feather. I was calm, but my heart was racing all I wanted to do was get one good shot. Excitedly, I got into position and managed to take the photo above.

He had that scowl on his face, but the light were up and the crowd noticed that he was leaving and a big cheer went up for him, then he started smiling. At this moment I was no longer looking at him through my camera, as I wanted to look at him with my own eyes, and the verdict?

Even more handsome in real life. Trust me.

The second picture did not come out so well, which is a huge same.


Looks like the Beckham boys happy to see every concert, and I don't blame them. It was that good.

Fashion Critic's Date With The Spice Girls

It feels like I have been talking about the Spice Girls concert forever, but last night I FINALLY went.

It was AMAZING. Well worth the £75.

My 4th row seats were amazing and as a result, me and my sister got some great pictures and videos. Between us we took around 800 pictures. My sister has the best camera in the world and she managed to take around 700 pictures. Our pictures were a mixture of good and bad. The best ones came when the girls came to our side of the stage. Facing the stage we were to the right of the girls.

My favourite one is this one my sister took of Mel C.


It was throughly entertaining. The girls interacted well and kept the crowd very entertained sing all the classic's. It is amazing how you never forgot the words of songs you have not sung in over 10 years.

The performance was flawless, although Victoria was noticeably late on one part of her routine during The Lady Is A Vamp.

Of course my attention was mostly focused on Victoria most of the time, but I was memerised by Melanie Brown.

Much prettier in real life and has THE MOST AMAZING body I have ever seen.


Dancing With The Stars has given her a body of steel, she was well toned and had - what appeared to be - an 8 pack. I am straight and I have nothing against lesbians - but tonight, if asked, Mel B could have turned me. She was that amazing.

Victoria and Emma were the ones who interacted with the crowds the most, often waving and smiling at various audience members. Some had dressed up as their favourite Spice Girls. Most were Geri.

Geri was kind enough to congratulate 3 girls who were all dressed in Union Jack dresses and matching Geri wigs, much to the delight of the girls.

UPDATE: In answer to your questions, Victoria is not as skinny as people are saying, she looks slim and healthy. Geri was the one who looked very skinny, not as athletically fit as she did in the summer.

I don't know if they are going to Paris, I guess they think that those from Paris could go to either the UK or Madrid shows. The only expected added dates are Australia.

We had the teaser yesterday, today we see her face.

In the Juergen Teller photos which will appear in fashion books over the next few months, Beckham is popping her head out of the shopping bag, stepping out of a gift box, or simply posing with her best signature pout.

"The images are humorous and ironic," Beckham said. "You can't be afraid to experiment with fashion, especially when working with Marc and Juergen — you have to push the envelope and show a different side.”

David BeckhamTo Help England Bid To Host The 2018 World Cup

David Beckham is keen to help England bid to host the 2018 World Cup.

He played a high-profile role promoting London's successful bid for the 2012 Olympics, met with Gordon Brown today and expressed his interest in becoming a bid ambassador to the British Prime Minister.

"I was proud to be involved in 2012 and being involved in 2018 is something I would be very interested in too," said David. "Being English, to bring the World Cup back to England would be something really special and I would be honoured to be involved in that."

David, who had a one-hour private meeting with Brown at 10 Downing Street on Tuesday, gave the prime minister a guided tour of his east London soccer academy.

Gordon Brown expressed his desire to take similar schemes across Britain, after being taken around the academy by Beckham. David showed him the educational programmes provided for youngsters including lessons in nutrition and team building.

Spice Girls To Attend Milan Menswear Fashion Week

As you all know Roberto Cavalli designed the wardrobe for the Spice Girls reunion tour.

In order to repay their thanks to the designer, the Spice Girls will attend Cavalli's men's wear show in Milan on Monday. The girls will breeze in and out of town just for the show, which should guarantee a paparazzi frenzy. But there might be more benefit than simply eyeing the male models on the runway: the group will get to compare musical notes with Rock&Roll, the hot French rocker band that Cavalli featured in his spring men's wear campaign which will also be sitting front and center.

David Beckham Attends a Private Meeting With The Prime Minster

David Beckham attended a private meeting with Gordon Brown the UK Prime Minister yesterday.

A Downing Street spokesman said the meeting was a "genuinely private matter" and that Beckham had been invited by Mr Brown.

Beckham told the BBC: "He's (Mr Brown) interested in sports and his football, you know he is very interested in doing a lot for my academy and also getting involved in schools around the country as well."

He added: "He's a very good man, you know he's a man that's looking after our country and he is doing a very good job. I'm very proud to be here tonight."

In a lunchtime press conference, Mr Brown said: "David Beckham did a brilliant job helping us win the Olympics."

"I think the whole country was grateful for the work he and others did to make that possible.

"If he can help us in future in some of the other big projects, that would be to the benefit of the country as well."

Hello and a happy new year to you all,

I’ve had an incredible start to the year already! I was lucky enough to receive the Football Writers Tribute Award last night, which was amazing for me personally. I was pleased to have Sven Goran Eriksson and Bryan Robson there at the ceremony saying a few words about my career. Both of them have achieved much in the game and are good people. It was also very emotional watching the highlights of my career so far. I’m so proud of what I have accomplished and I know I still have plenty more to offer. It was a special night for both me and my family, who were also there with me, and I hope I can create some more memories to add to the ones recognised yesterday evening.

I’m currently spending my days at Arsenal’s training ground, making sure I keep myself fit during the MLS off-season. It’s nice to be back in the UK even though the weather is a bit chilly! I’m definitely missing the Californian sun, and it was very kind of Arsene Wenger and Arsenal to let me train alongside the squad and use their facilities. I’m working hard to keep fit and to give myself the best chance of being called up to Fabio Cappello’s first England squad next month.

David Beckham Receives Football Writers Tribute Award

Last night David Beckham received an award from the Football Writers Association for his outstanding achievements in football at The Lancaster Hotel, London.

"It’s an incredible honor to receive this award. Football writers have followed my career from when I was a young player at Manchester United up to now. It’s great to receive this recognition from those who follow and love the game," David said.

During the dinner, former England coach Sven-Göran Eriksson suggested that the team’s new coach, Fabio Capello, should play Beckham in a match next month against Swizterland.

In front of Brian Barwick, the FA chief executive, insisted that hundreds of guests toast Beckham and his hundredth cap. "He deserves it," Eriksson said.

Beckham reiterated that he would not be retiring from the national team although he was not making any assumptions about the future. "I have played 99 times so far," he said. "We’ll see. What I always want to be remembered for is that I have given my best in every game whether that’s for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy or England. Playing for my country has been the biggest honour of my career."



In an interview Beckham revealed his fitness after a five-week break from football had surprised him.

"It's a lot better than I thought it was," he said. "I feel great. I've had one day of training with the Arsenal team and three days of training with the fitness trainer."

Beckham revealed he had thoroughly enjoyed working with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger in the past week.

"It's been great. I'm lucky that Arsene Wenger has given me the chance to train with the team," he added. "It's nice to be with a Premier League team that is obviously so talented".

"The players have accepted me really well."

A lot of Manchester United fans has reacted angrily to David training with Arsenal. I don't think they have the right to be angry, if he had chosen Manchester United over Arsenal, then they should have been angry, but Manchester United, his boyhood club did not even offer him a chance/opportunity to train with them.

You would think Mel B would know what silicon feels like, as she has two bags of her own, but that did not stop her grabbing a hand full of Victoria's breasts during their latest performance on the Spice Girls Tour.

Victoria Beckham Glows In The Dark

This is why I love the Beckham's in London. When they go out, they go ALL out.

Glamour that is.

In LA, there are so many celebrity friendly restaurants with underground parking, that you just don't get to see her fabulous outfits.

Victoria is looking fabulous wearing a tight flower-patterned neon yellow strapless dress, and David is looking super sharp in tight grey trousers with a matching waistcoat.

What I love from these pictures are the subtle things, that let you know they planned their outfits.

She has the bright yellow dress and he has yellow in his tie. She has a big ruby diamond ring (a Christmas present I am guessing) and he has a ruby strap on his watch.

Coincidence? Hell no.

Why did they get dressed up?

They got all dressed up for a Saturday night out on the town in London. They dined at St. Alban restaurant, which is very popular due to the fact that it serves contemporary European cuisine at a very reasonable price. A typical meal costing around only £20/$40.

In other news, Victoria recently spoke to press about her sadness over finishing the Spice Girls reunion tour, saying that she will have to return to her lonely life.

Victoria said: "I’ll really miss the tour when it’s over. I didn’t realize how much I’d missed all the girls until we were back together and I think it can be quite lonely when I’ve lived abroad for so many years. I’ve really missed the girls."

David Beckham's Armani Billboard Hits Milan

The first billboard featuring the David Beckham looking hot in his white pants was unveiled in Milan just in time for Men's Fashion Week which starts 12 January.

The 310 square metre poster is located on via Cusani and via Broletto and is the first of many traffic stopping ads to be put up all over the world over the next few months.

Ladies I would suggest that you don't drive around that area, we don't want any accidents.

David Beckham Joins Arsenal Football Club...

....only for training :(

David Beckham trained with Arsenal today, wearing the Gunners' training kit with the number 23 on it. Oh so cute, and a nice touch by Arsenal.

As an Arsenal fan, my dream has been realised by seeing David wearing Arsenal gear, even if it is only kit training kit. Arsenal are sponsored by Nike, so I guess Adidas are not happy with him wearing the famous tick.

David is using the Major League Soccer's off-season to keep his fitness up as he closes in on 100 caps for England, but had not been expected to wear Arsenal colours.

Spice Girls To Extend Tour?

The Spice Girls have been offered an extra £2 million each, if they sign up to extend their comeback tour to include Australia.

Their greatest hits album has proved such a huge success down under, that promoters are now begging them to add 12 Australian dates to the end of their tour, for shows in Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.

Speaking to The Sun, a source says, 'The girls have a massive fan base in Australia and a huge amount of cash is being thrown at them to get them to perform there.'

The Spices are currently half way through a run of seventeen shows at London's O2 Arena. The last date of the tour is currently scheduled for 26 February, where it was due to finish in Toronto.

The Beckhams Celebrate The New Year In Style

Victoria Beckham looked stunning as she celebrated New Years in London this morning.

I am not crazy about the pale face, but I love the strapless lace dress and the red Christian Louboutin Rolando's.

David and Victoria were leaving Claridges in London were they had drinks. Early in the evening they had dinner at Nobu Berkeley in Park Lane.

The other Spice Girls who attended the dinner were Geri, Emma and Mel C.

(Maybe she did not have that reduction after all)

In Victoria Beckham's Closet - Dolce & Gabbana

Happy New Year to you all.

Regular readers will know that I have been in New York. Whilst shopping in Bergdorf Goodman's I found this dress you may recognise. Victoria Beckham wore it on the Ellen DeGeneres show back in October.

The dress is by Dolce & Gabbana and is even more beautiful in real life.

I tried it on and it caresses every curve. It was really amazing, even if you don't have a figure like Mrs Beckham.

The dress was on sale for $599. I was tempted.
