i agree, she could of asked much better questions, she needs to up her game if she wants to stay a interveiwer, they travelled all that way just to ask those questions....
If you'd listen to the radio show you'd know that she (Carrie) had prepared questions but got so nervous she forgot them. Also, they weren't sure they'd get the interview as they turned up five minutes prior on a hunch. She's with the BBC Radio1 Chris Moyles show, and they're airing from LA this week so she didn't travel all that way just for David... I think it was kind of sweet....
Vicky thanks for your comment, but the fact that she forgot her questions and did not re-prepare, just goes to show how sloppy a journalist she is.
There can be no excuses. It is not everyday a journalists gets to meet David Beckham, whether she was sure or not she should have been prepared.
This was a BBC production. In the UK we pay a TV license, which pays for this stupid girls salary, and the fact that this was the best she could do, means our money is going to waste.
I do not understand the questions because I do not speak english (I am italian), but I understand from your comments that are stupid questions. David must have a lot of patience to be able to respond with education. For dvb Thanks............... Ciao
After reading all of these comments I expected it to be much worse than it is! As Carrie is part of the Chris Moyles team it was never going to be a normal/serious interview. You could tell she wasn't sure she was going to get to talk to David and he doesn't seem thrilled that they turned up like that.
I agree! David looked a bit annoyed more than anything because the interviewer was so unprepaired with her questions.
ReplyDeleteLOL omg even david seems like "wtf?" if i had the chance to meet him, i would definitely prepare days in advance

David is so cute and gentle.
ReplyDeleteFC: I'm not so happy about the US lingo. I love his British accent. What is the British expression for "all good"?
Last week I was in London for my birthday and it was so lovely! ; - )
