Friday 13th Introduction For David Beckham

The Los Angeles Galaxy will officially introduce new signing David Beckham on Friday, July 13.

Friday 13th? I am very superstitious and this is NOT a good sign.

After winning the LA Liga title with Real Madrid, David faces a tough time reversing the Galaxy's fortunes.

The club are second from bottom in the six-team Major League Soccer Western Conference. Wow, what a fall from glory. I REALLY don't think they thought this through, what a shame for David to go from a Champion in La Liga to a second from bottom loser in the MLS.

In other news, David's former manager Fabio Capello has been sacked by Real Madrid. There is a view in Spain that he paid the price for pushing David Beckham out the door and frankly I think it serves him right. He should have done all he could to keep David when he had the chance.

Christopher Kane Disses Posh

Hands up who had heard of Christopher Kane prior to Victoria Beckham wearing his designs? Na me neither.

What an ungrateful prick (excuse my language). Victoria is a fashionista, a fashion icon but Christopher Kane begs to differ.

The designer spoke recently at his dismay of seeing Victoria wearing one of his designs: "I couldn't do anything about it, to be honest. She wanted to borrow something, but I said no, so she went out and bought it. I've got nothing against her, but she's not the woman I imagine wearing my dresses. I think more of women like Carine Roitfeld because she's sexy and intelligent. Posh Spice doesn't even get a look-in.

I don't want to sound presumptuous but I've worked too hard for my stuff to be seen on the front of the Sun newspaper," Meow Mr Kane.

Kane does have a soft spot for another celeb, Kylie Minogue. She has been supporting him since he graduated from Central St Martins and he said of the pop princess: "Kylie's great, a proper businesswoman and really smart." So is Posh you idiot.

In my opinion he has based his designs very loosely on the superior talent of Hervé Léger which Victoria is now wearing in preference these days.

Don't you think that it is strange that he is only speaking up now? She wore that dress back in March. I guess because she is no longer endorsing his disgusting designs he is feeling bitter.

David Beckham & Kate Moss To Become God Parents

Actress Davinia Taylor (best friend of Kate Moss) and sports agent Dave Gardner (best friend of David Beckham) had a baby girl Grey on Tuesday.

So when you have high profile best mates it makes choosing god parents easy.

David as a god parent is a good choice, but a cocaine taking model, with a boyfriend who is also known and quite happily admits to taking drugs...not so good.

To be a god parent you need to have morals. I don't think Kate has any.

According to reports, Davinia and Dave "knew as soon as Davinia was pregnant who they wanted for godparents." David, who knows Dave from his days at Manchester United and who was best man at the couple's wedding, will meet the baby on Sunday; Kate visited Davinia in the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

What A Difference 23 Days Makes

On 5 June Victoria wore this Roberto Cavalli corset to the Glamour Awards in London. Now I don't know about you, but I was quite surprised that after wearing the outfit to such a high profile event, that she would wear it to another high profile event. Today she wore the corset again but this time with Chanel trousers instead of hot pants.

Girl Power Is Back And Stronger Than Ever

I watched the press conference today and it was very entertaining. The girls have not lost their sparkle nor their sense of humour.

Geri took center stage answering most of the questions from the press desperate to questions within the 45 minute time-frame.

One reporter from Heat magazine suggested that the five may not be fit enough to perform their dance routines. "You don't look so fit yerself," giggled Mel B. Classic Scary...the whole conference laughed.

When a reporter from the Daily Mail started to ask a question, he was promptly told by Mel C that their story last week referring that the concerts would feature pre-recorded vocals was "s**t". Again good on you Mel C.

There were journalists from all over the world at the conference. A TV reporter from Russia, told the girls he was disappointed that his country had been missed out of the world schedule, was told: "If you invite us, we'll come." This could be a long tour if they take this approach.

When asked about their legendary rows Mel C said, "We used to have our spats, but we were kids then and we’re woman now".

She was then asked why she originally resisted the idea of a reunion, she said: "A girl's allowed to change her mind."

As they will all -barring Mel C- be mothers by the time the tour kicks off Posh was asked if they would have a creche on tour. She said, "We're definitely going to have a huge creche. Our priority is going to be our families. We want to have fun.

"That's one of the many reasons for this, for our children to see what we used to do.. I can be the cool one in the family for once!"

Posh you will always be cool to me.

Asked if they were reforming for the money, Geri responded by saying, "For me it's about celebrating the past, enjoying each other, it's about our fans. It felt the right time -- it's kind of now or never."

Mel B's Arrived

Ahead of tomorrow's Spice Girl tour announcement. Mel B arrived in London Heathrow from LA with her new boyfriend Stephen Belafonte and 8 year old daughter Phoenix Chi. Wow isn't she big now? I remember her as a cute baby, now she is a little woman.

Two month old Angel Iris Murphy-Brown was finally allowed to travel after her DNA test.

I love how Mel B has not let go of her Scary Spice attire. Everything is leopard print, the bag, the boots, top and the glasses all classic Scary Spice. Makes you feel all nostalgic.

£250,000 For A Walk-In Closet?

It has been reported by In Touch Magazine that Victoria Beckham has purchase a high tech, computer generated walk-in closet for £250,000.

It supposedly features a leather floor, Baccarat crystal chandelier, £400,000 Andy Warhol shoe print, a computer that tracks when she wears items of clothing and a camera to give her a 360-degree "cat scan" of her outfit before she steps out.

Victoria's publicist tonight was adamant that the US reports had been wildly exaggerated, and that although they had had new closets installed, they were simply "bog standard" without any computer wizardry.

Some journalists just get so carried away. She could just employ someone like me to remind her what she has worn before for less than £250,000.

Ugly Victoria

Meeting Eric Mabius at the 'Glamour Awards' was not a complete waste of time as Victoria Beckham is set to star in an episode of 'Ugly Betty'. She is being lined up to play herself in an episode of the hit US show.

Actor Eric Mabius, who plays fashion magazine Mode's editor-in-chief Daniel Meade in the series, let slip that bosses have made initial steps to secure Victoria for a cameo role.

He said: "Victoria is keen and so are we. We can see her fitting in as a cameo now she is about to be big in the US."

As we all know Victoria is desperate to be a huge success in the US and is hoping her appearance on the show will help raise her profile. Ugly Betty is my favourite show so I can not wait to see her in it.

Club bosses want her for a one-off performance with the pom-poms at Becks' first game against Club Deportivo Chivas on 23 August.

David Beckham's Adidas Advertising Campaign

Adidas is launching an advertising campaign this week featuring David Beckham and New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush swapping sports during practice in "Futbol vs. Football" .

According to Adidas' press release the following website should show Beckham and Bush showing off their athletic skills and challenging each other to tackle their respective sports. Beckham attempted a
record-breaking field goal with Bush as his placeholder and Bush attempted
to "Bend it like Beckham" as he practiced free kicks. Never before seen
footage of this meeting will be available for viewing at
http://www.futbolmeetsfootball.com but as you can see it does not work yet.


"There's very few people whose names transcend their own sports. People know the name of David Beckham, whether they follow soccer or not," said Stephen Pierpoint, vice president of brand marketing for Adidas America.

America can look forward to Beckham advertising overload prior to his arrival next month.

"It will be a coordinated blitz, if you will," Galaxy president Alexi Lalas said. "We want to make sure that we're not duplicating efforts. So there will be obviously stuff from Adidas, the Galaxy, ESPN and a bunch of other ones." A bunch of other ones? How eloquently put Mr Lalas.


Adidas has also retaped its "Impossible is Nothing" commercial with David to make his soccer past understandable to an American audience.

LA Thinks Posh Is Overdressed

We all love Victoria Beckham because she LOVES to dress up...well I do anyway. So does her good friend Tom Ford who once made her promise never to change her unique style. Karl Lagerfeld said Posh is cool — and that's all she cares about because "he’s the man". But in LA it is a different story as US style insiders are are apparently laughing behind her back.

In order to make a huge impression on her soon to be neighbours Victoria has been constantly changing her wardrobe, sometimes 3 times in a day.

Nothing wrong with that in my opinion, but LA stylist Cliff Hoppus, who has worked with everyone from the contestants on American Idol to film star Rachel McAdams, says: "LA style is all about being low key. It's not about showing you have money or class, it's about making the point that you are so comfortable in yourself that you can wear whatever you want. Real LA people know how to dress down."

"Maybe when she moves here, she'll hire an LA stylist who can help her realise she is really not getting it here," says Cliff.

Jealous bitches. I don't want to see Victoria become a tee shirt wearing, flip flop LA clone. Then she would just be ordinary and who wants ordinary?

Professor Beckham

David Beckham has said previously in interviews that he is often baffled by his son's homework, but despite that and failing all his GCSE's, David is set to lecture at a University.

When David arrives in LA next month he will be bombarded with invitations. But the most unlikely and prestigious will come from the University of Southern California (USC). The 127-year-old university is keen to offer the city’s latest celebrity a platform from which to explain to its students how "soccer" can change the world. According to sources close to Beckham, he is keen to join the debate.

"David Beckham is already part of the masters course taught here, as an example of the influence of athletes, so I am hoping that he will be able to address us at that seminar," said a professor last week.

"People who don’t follow football don’t appreciate what a globally significant figure Beckham is even now with his career in transition."

In the past David has admitted he is more fluent on the field than in public speaking. He once joked: "I don’t do the talking thing very good sometimes."

I love his voice, he is so cute, humble and bashful when he speaks and that only makes him more endearing.

Victoria's addiction to super high stilettos is legendary but Victoria may soon find herself wearing something a little less flattering on her feet – hospital bandages.

According to the Daily Mail Victoria has told friends that her bunions are now so bad she is seriously considering having an operation to remove them.

The scale of Victoria's painful bunion problem was laid bare recently when she was snapped in a pair of spiked Giles Deacon shoes.


A friend told the Daily Mail: "Victoria has had enough of having bad feet and has made some early-stage enquiries about having her rather unpleasant bunions removed."

Spice Girls Announcement Next Week

It was speculated today that the Spice Girls were due to make an announcement about their future plans, but it will now be next week.

"The Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on Thursday 28th June," their management said.

"No further information can be given at this time but given the band's unique history you can be sure to expect the unexpected," Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment said.

I did think it a tad strange that an announcement would be made when both Victoria and Mel B are out of the country. Let's see what next week brings. Can't wait.

No I am not being ironic. Rich & Skinny are a brand of jeans in the US that cost $198 (why are jeans so expensive these days?)

Victoria wore these a little while ago when she was taking her kids to school in Madrid.

Spice Girls Reunion Announcement TODAY

THE Spice Girls have finally signed up for a reunion world tour - for which they will pocket £10MILLION apiece.

The decision took so long because Mel C was very reluctant to agree and apparently it was fan power that made her reconsider, as she did not want to be seen as the party pooper.

The tour is said to start in London. After the London Posh, Geri, Emma, Mel B and Mel C will then travel all over Europe, the Far East, America and the Middle East for the remaining 24 dates through to the end of January.

We should expect a new single and a re-release greatest hits album.

All this is speculation right now, so I will write the facts later after the official announcement.

Tom Cruise In LA Galaxy Take Over?

Apparently football loving Tom Cruise is launching a £40million bid to take over pal David Beckham’s new team LA Galaxy.

Tom has indicated that he is keen to plough the cash into the up-and-coming squad, with the promise of more to come.

LA Galaxy broke the bank to land Becks, on a reputed £128m five-year deal, so money is tight.

A source revealed: "To have Tom’s backing would be amazing – there’s no way Galaxy bosses would turn down that opportunity."

Tom has often watched Becks play in Spain and was in the Bernabeu stadium earlier this week to see his final game for Real Madrid.

Meanwhile the removal men started to clear out Beckham’s mansion in Madrid yesterday. He and Victoria are in the Far East.

Rock Republic Retain Victoria's Crown

An almighty row has erupted during which Victoria Beckham has been stripped of her crown.

The former Spice Girl, who prefers to think of herself as footballing royalty, signed a deal with Rock and Republic jeans two years ago to create an exclusive line in her name, distinguishable by the embroidered crown logo on the back pocket.

In 2006 Victoria terminated the partnership, having decided to launch her own range, VB, and charge nearly twice the amount for the denims.

By all appearances the split was amicable, but I hear that a secret battle has, in fact, been raging away over the crown logo, which Victoria wanted to take with her.

"Rock and Republic refused to let her use it and have retained the crown for their own new range, Crown Denims, which has incensed Victoria," I'm told.

Rock and Republic's UK distributor, Robert de Keyser of Dekeyser Fashions, refuses to bite his tongue.

"The new Beckham range appears to be seriously overpriced for a line which is made, unlike other premium denims, in China," he tells me.

"Whatever Victoria learned about denim from working with Rock and Republic appears to have been lost, ironically, in her move to LA with her husband."

Since the Saks Launch there have been stories that Victoria was fired by Rock Republic for her lack of professionalism.

Sources close to the company claim that cooperation with Victoria was terrible. She was indecisive and inconsistent in her work, and besides that, she is never around. She wants her name to be connected to the new clothing line, but does not want to work at all, unless of course, there is a camera somewhere close by.

Ouch! Bitter me thinks. But I will agree that looking at the jeans side by side that Rock Republic does look far superior in quality.

The Beckham's Headed To Thailand

According to the Bangkok Post David and Victoria landed in Bangkok today and will travel onto the tourist islands of Phuket and Samui and not China as I reported yesterday. So it WILL be a break and not work related.

Today we saw Victoria debut a new bag, which for me was a relief as I had grown very tired of the black Hermes bag and the Jimmy Choo clutch before that.

This bag is a Metallic python Burberry Beaton bag from the Spring 2007 collection. It retails at an astonishing £3,400, €5,100 or $6,840, but it is worth every penny as it is BEAUTIFUL.

The Beckhams Head To China

Victoria and David Beckham left from Heathrow airport today for China.

David has always expressed an interest in setting up a football academy in China. Back in May it was reported that David, will choose Shanghai, Beijing, Macau or another unidentified Chinese city as the site for his first academy in Asia.

Tim Leiweke, chief executive officer of Anschutz Entertainment Group, the Los Angeles-based company that owns the Galaxy said, "We'd like to have something done with David by the time he starts playing for the Galaxy because we're going to have other things we're doing here. We'll be announcing extended training and touring of China," Leiweke said.

Or they could just be going on holiday. Time will tell.

'That Extra Half An Inch' Sexed Up

Victoria Beckham's style bible 'That Extra Half An Inch' her best-selling book, will be updated and released in paperback for its second edition, the Sun reports.

It is very different to the first hardback cover were she was very cutesy and girly. Here she is a sexy temptress.

So what's been changed, you ask? Other than selling more copies?

Posh wrote: "In the last edition I said I was wary of tops with horizontal stripes. One of my mother's style rules was never to wear horizontal stripes and that always stayed with me - until recently.

"Sorry, Mum, I just had to break a few rules here and there. I have found that a slinky striped sweater dress or fitted T can actually look very stylish."

But VB isn't breaking all the rules...

She continued: "My mum's other style tip, incidentally, is don't eat beetroot because it stains - and I have never to this day."

I love beetroot. I am wondering if me and Posh could ever be friends :)

Dinner With TomKat After Beckham Cruises' To Victory

Although there was plenty of drama predicted for David Beckham's final game for Spanish club Real Madrid - the real show was in the stands as wife Victoria pitched up with pals, Tom and Katie Cruise, to cheer husband David on.

It was Hollywood meets Madrid, as the trio, all wearing huge dark sunglasses, lit up the stands with their superstar wattage.

After the game, the celebrity foursome were mobbed by fans when they went out for a meal in the city at Madrid's top restaurant, El Xistu. It was around 6.30 a.m. when the Beckhams and the Cruises left the after party in a club of Madrid.

Celebrations Continue.....

An estimated 750,000 Madristas poured out on the streets to witness David Beckham leads his team on a bus bearing the word "Campeones" on the side which was headed for the Cibeles fountain.

Club captain Raul, celebrating his fifth league title with Real, was lifted on to the monument by a crane and draped a Spanish flag and a club scarf around the statue of the goddess as his team mates looked on. This is traditional in Madrid.

It gives me GREAT pleasure to tell you that David Beckham and his Real Madrid team have won the La Liga title. They are the Champions or Campeones in Spanish.

Unfortunately David went off in the second half having aggravated his previous injury but his team went on and did the hard work.

I just watched David Beckham being interview by Sky Sports and he had tears in his eyes...beautiful. He was so incredibly happy to have won and I am so proud of him.

David Beckham Will Play In The Primera Liga Title Decider

David Beckham has been passed fit to play in Real Madrid's title-deciding clash with Real Mallorca today.

The Primera Liga will be decided with Real in pole position as they face Mallorca.

As well as being a title decider, the game also marks David's last in a Real shirt ahead of his move to Los Angeles Galaxy. *sheds tear*

The England midfielder has been struggling with an ankle problem which he picked up on international duty - but he trained with Real on Saturday and the club have confirmed he is no longer on the injury list.

Keep your fingers crossed ladies and pray that Real win today. Just think of the sexy pictures of him wearing his winners medal I will be posting, should they win.

On whether the rumors she tested her jeans on friend Jennifer Lopez are true, she says, "I didn’t test my jeans on J Lo. She’s a friend… she’s supported my sunglass line… and she likes them, same as Katie."

About inspiring Katie Holmes’ new haircut, Beckham comments, "I don’t know… I inspire my friends… my friends inspire me. She’s so strong-minded… she has a great sense of style… I think she looks wonderful."

Beckham’s secret to staying in shape, she says, "They [kids] stand me in goal and all three of them kick footballs at me…David too… I dive from left to right and that’s kind of about it as far as my fitness regime."

The Beckham's Desperate For A Baby Girl

Victoria Beckham has revealed she and David will start trying for a little girl as soon as they've established a new life in California.

The pair think a daughter would complete their family.

'I would love a girl,' she says. 'When we're settled in LA, David and I will start trying again.'

Victoria reckons David is particularly keen to be dad to a daughter.

'David wants one probably even more than me,' she tells the Sunday Mirror. 'He doesn't have any tattoos on his right arm and he's said that is where he'll get the name of our first girl.'

Wedding No Show

Victoria Beckham was ment to be attending Gary Neville's wedding today. But unfortunately it has been reported that she did not attend so no photo's today....well for now.

UPDATE: Victoria arrived back home in Madrid yesterday. After being away for most of the week I am sure the thought of going to a wedding without David was something she really did not want to do. I think she just preferred to be at home with her family. David has a very important game today so I am sure she wanted to be home to support him.

Becks Documentary

Following in his wife's footsteps, David Beckham will be the subject of a one hour sports documentary that will follow his last month in Spain, including his return to the England national team and his move to the US. The documentary is being made by 19 Entertainment and is expected to air at the end of July on ITV and ESPN.

Prior to Victoria's Saks clothing launch in which reader Emma was lucky enough to meet Mrs Beckham, Style.com caught up with the Victoria. They said she was surprisingly approachable and happy to discuss her personal couture collection, what inspires her, and why she won't be doing a runway show anytime soon.

How does it feel to be designing?
I couldn't be the best singer, dancer, actress, but I'm actually good at this. I'm fanatical about rivets and things that most people don't even pay attention to.

What do you think every girl should have in her wardrobe?
The reason that I started on denim is that every girl should have a good pair of jeans.

Do you aspire to have a fashion show one day?
I'd love to. But I'd have to come out with more than just jeans, or there would be a lot of toplessness going on.

What item do you still wear that has been in your wardrobe the longest?
A Dolce & Gabbana pinstripe corset dress that I bought when I first got together with the Spice Girls, so it's actually vintage now. And I've also got some vintage James Galanos, Claude Montana, Azzedine Alaïa, and Thierry Mugler.

With Alaïa you can't really go wrong.
He's genius. I get along very, very well with him. This year my husband took me to Paris as a surprise, and he took me to the Alaïa showroom, where I was fitted for a dress. That was great.

Have you learned anything new in the design process that you didn't know before?
How quickly you have to think ahead. I get inspiration from everywhere and everything—it's not always fabrics. I found these genius lilac trees when I was in L.A., and I took photos of them and sent them on to people. Everyone got pictures of these trees and was like, "What's going on?" You never know where you're going to get your inspiration from.

Victoria's Dinner At The Four Seasons

Victoria Beckham wore another amazing Givenchy dress yesterday as she celebrated the official launch of her fashion line DVB at NYC’s Four Seasons Restaurant.

Saks Fifth Avenue chairman and CEO Stephen I. Sadove took the time to introduce Posh to the fashion community.

Girlfriend is really working hard.

The dinner gave Victoria the chance to charm the crowd of editors with her irreverent sense of humor.

Posh Takes A Bite Out Of The Big Apple

Victoria Beckham is pretty as a peach in this ruffled dress as she takes a walk in Central Park.

Update: Victoria taped an interview with NBC’s Matt Lauer today near world-famous Tavern on the Green with photographers snapping away around her. In the interview Victoria talks about a possible Spice Girls reunion, her upcoming move to the U.S with hubby David, and how she is always followed by the press. Mrs. Beckham then posed for photographers and talked about the stunning short dress by Alaia.

Victoria will launch her fashion line at Saks in New York in a short while but she will not spend much time in New York. On Saturday she will be attending David Beckham's best friend and former team mate Gary Neville's wedding. David will unfortunately not be able to attend as he will be playing for Real Madrid on Sunday.

David Beckham's Last Press Conference For Real

David Beckham gave his last press conference as a Real player today in Madrid.

He revealed Sunday’s La Liga match with Real Mallorca will be his last game for the club.

It had been speculated Real may be able to prevent him from joining LA Galaxy in MLS due to a clause in his deal, but David confirmed is not true.

"My last game with Real will be on Sunday," he confirmed on Sky Sports News. "There's no clause in the deal I signed with the Galaxy saying that it could be changed.

"I've played for Real Madrid for four years. I've had an incredible, incredible time. Hopefully it'll end with the best ending possible - with La Liga title."

Victoria Beckham's 'Coming To America' Premiere

NBC has announced it will air ‘Victoria Beckham: Coming to America’ on July 16 at 8 p.m. ET, a one-hour “insightful and hilarious” look at the “woman behind the fashion icon.”

It will give viewers an exclusive look inside the life of international superstar Victoria Beckham as she makes the move across the pond from London to Los Angeles.

No word yet on whether it will be coming to Europe. I just we will have to watch it on You Tube.

Here is Victoria Beckham at the LA Dodgers stadium hitting ball, catching a ball.....I don't really care because she is looking as cute as I have ever seen her. At first I thought she was on tippy toes, but she is actually wearing wedges. Trust Posh to still look stylish and trendy when she is hitting a ball with a stick.

On throwing out the first pitch: “I’m gonna do the best I can, this is a huge honor for me.”

Real Madrid Try To Buy Out David Beckham's LA Galaxy Contract

Too little, too late. They had the chance to keep David but Real dragged their heels.

BBC Sport are reporting that Real Madrid have had a bid to buy David Beckham out of his LA Galaxy contract rejected by the MLS club.

Real approached Davids advisors and LA Galaxy with their offer but were told "politely but firmly" that Beckham would not change his mind.

The Spanish giants were told Beckham's contract did not have a get-out clause, which they believe existed.

"Nothing has changed. We can't wait for Beckham to get here," said LA Galaxy general manager Alexi Lalas.

Victoria Makes Promise To Tom Ford

Victoria Beckham has promised designer Tom Ford she will keep her unique fashion sense when she moves to Los Angeles next month.

The Former Gucci designer Ford is good friends with Victoria and was concerned she would drop her own style in favour of a laid-back, hippy L.A. look.

She says, "I was talking to Tom recently about my move and he said, 'Just promise me you’re not going to change the way you dress.' "So when I go out looking like a 1940s headmistress, they might look at me as I’m odd."

Victoria was first told off by Tom Ford as she was about to change on an 11 hour flight.

I would only agree to this promise if he gave me his ENTIRE collection for free.

CowGirl Posh

Victoria Beckham did not sleep off her jet-lag when she arrived in LA. Instead she met up with her Spice Girl pal Melanie Brown at the Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip. Also in attendance was British model pal Paul Sculfor (who is apparently Jennifer Aniston’s new man).

Both Victoria and Melanie who also lives in LA, cheered a friend on as she rode the mechanical bull at the Saddle Ranch. I wonder if Victoria had a go. Na I don't think so either. But I am glad to she her having fun here.

Victoria wore all black cardigan and a super short skirt. She finished off her look with a pair of peep-toe ankle boots and a Jimmy Choo Rio Oversize Clutch. I guess she got tired of her other Jimmy Choo Clutch which she has in white and black. God I envy her wardrobe.

Notice in a few of the photos below she has a Rocawear poster in the background, which is quite ironic considering she used to model for the brand. The other thing to notice is that the female bodyguard (lady with the dark hair) is slightly dressed up with the earrings and make-up. Looks like Victoria's good influence is rubbing off on her.

David Beckham Is Still On For La Liga Title

David Beckham's hopes of finishing his Real Madrid career with a Spanish league title remain alive after an extraordinary night in La Liga.

With two minutes left Barcelona led Espanyol 2-1 at Camp Nou and Real trailed 2-1 at Real Zaragoza.

But Ruud van Nistelrooy's second equalizer of the night, his 33rd goal of the season, secured Real a 2-2 draw.

Then Espanyol equalized in the final minute at Barcelona to leave Real still on top going into the final round.

This means Real are still top of the table with 73 points, the same as Barcelona, but are top because of the head to head rule in Spainish football. If it was English football Barcelona would be top on goal difference (GD).

Victoria Returns To LA

Less than a week later Victoria Beckham is already back in LA. She must have some serious jet-lag.

She is no doubt back to continue working on her reality TV show as she has her camera crew in tow. She is also due in New York to launch her fashion collection on Thursday, so another busy week for Mrs Beckham.

Are you thinking you have seen this outfit before? Well you would be right, she wore it on the 16th May when she touched down in LA. Even the lady with blonde hair is wearing the same clothes.

Here is David Beckham, hotter than ever, as he arrives in Zaragoza, Spain, with his Real Madrid team mates is for the imporant La Liga match against Zaragoza this evening. It looks like David has recovered from the injury he sustained on Wednesday against Estonia.

David could win his first Spanish league medal with Madrid tonight if they win and FC Barcelona and Sevilla lose.

He could also will scoop a massive £270,000 bonus if he wins the La Liga tonight. The 25 man squad have been promised a £6.8million bonanza for lifting the trophy. It is not like he needs the money but it is a nice gesture.

Posh Dinner With JLo and Marc

With Victoria being back in Madrid and her A-List celebrity friends - Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony being in town they met for dinner, just before the Anthony´s concert in Madrid this weekend in the Latino Festival.

I wish I was a fly on the wall to hear what the conversation was about.

I do hope Victoria only wore that hat in the car. She seems to be wearing it everywhere now.

As Electra says, it is unlikely David would have been at this dinner on Friday as he had to report to Zaragoza for his very important match with Real Zaragoza tonight.

Victoria Beckham will be officially launching her new fashion line, DVB, in New York next Thursday. I wish it was in London but in Victoria's quest to crack America I suppose it makes sense.

Victoria will be appearing at Saks Fifth Avenue for one hour Thursday evening to meet with her fans and sign autographs. The Chairman and CEO of Saks Fifth Avenue Stephen I. Sadove will introduce her to the fashion community.

The DVB range will feature sunglasses, denim and, eventually, fragrances.

Case For The Defence

On my other blog Red Carpet Style Awards I pride myself on spotting clothes celebrities are wearing, so when I saw Victoria's black corset she wore to the Glamour Awards I knew instantly it was Roberto Cavalli.

The following day while watching GMTV I saw an interview with Victoria and she claimed she was wearing Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld.

I then issue a public apology to Karl Lagerfeld for getting it so wrong, but in the back of my mind I am still convinced it is Cavalli, but as it comes from Victoria's mouth so I choose to believe her and drop the subject.

Then Electra sends me some photos of close up of the Cavalli model and Scarlett Johansson wearing said corset from last months Vogue US and here are the results.

Yesterday Victoria Beckham wore this gorgeous short fitted silk patchwork mini-dress and metal spike-encrusted ‘punk’ shoes by the British designer of the year, Giles Deacon. The dress is from Giles' Fall 2007 collection.

Victoria who missed her husband playing against Estonia in the vital European 2008 championship qualifier, to fulfill her obligations to the students, said she was overwhelmed at the talent and creativity. “This has been a wonderful experience.”


She confirmed she had also bought three designs from a student at the University of East London, Kelly Shaw, whose collection featured 1950 ‘domestic goddess’ dresses inspired by Doris Day and made in strawberry-print and stripe plastic and Latex.

David Beckham Injury Scare

David Beckham inspired England to a comfortable Euro 2008 qualifier win against Estonia in Tallinn to ease the pressure on coach Steve McClaren. The final score was 3-0.

David left the field to another ovation from England's fans after 67 minutes, nursing an ankle injury. In the picture above his ankle has an ice pack on it to reduce the swelling.

This news will not be welcome by Fabio Capello or Real Madrid as they are still chasing the La Liga title. They have a game on the 10th June against Zaragoza away and they need all 3 points.

David Beckham Keeps One Arm Free For Baby Girl

Looking as beautiful as ever wearing Hervé Léger, Victoria leaves her hotel no doubt on route to Estonia where her husband is playing for England tonight in a very important Euro 2008 qualification match.

Football is not the first thing on Victoria's mind she says husband David is keeping one arm free from tattoos so he has space to honour the couple's future children - which the pair hope will include a baby girl.


Speaking at the Glamour awards, Mrs Beckham told the Daily Mail: "Yes it's true. I think David is keeping his arm free for - hopefully - the name, or names, of our daughter or any other children we have.

"Of course we would absolutely love to have a little girl but at the moment our lives are so full. So much is going on, we're just concentrating on now and the move to LA."

She added: "But if in a few years' time when Cruz is all grown up, and we're so blessed, then we can start thinking about having more children."

Louis Malloy, who has tattooed David for the past seven years, has received instructions to that effect.

Victoria was in fact dressed head-to-toe in Chanel and it was designed by Karl Lagerfeld. (I am still convinced that the corset is Cavalli)

There is never a quiet moment for Victoria Beckham. Here she is at LAX airport heading back to London yesterday afternoon for one of her many engagements in a very packed schedule.

As usual she is the epitome of cool in this 'Village People' biker look, with a touch of glamour in a Chanel belt.

NBC is expected to turn Victoria's reality series into a primetime special and if it’s a ratings success, the special could lead to more specials or a series. This is better than languishing on Bravo were not many people will be able to see the show.

It seems the NBC executives are not quite sure what to do with her show. This is only their jobs, don't they do this everyday? Why can't they make one decision about her show and stick with it?

Shopping Addiction

Like all good shopping addicts Victoria Beckham could not keep out of the LA clothes store for long.

Yesterday I reported that I was shocked that on this LA trip she had only been to a furniture store, but my girl got back to doing what she loves best...SHOPPING. I share her addiction but I just can't afford it.

Victoria Keeps Feathering

After shocking wowing the world with her zebra print dress yesterday Victoria went shopping today in LA. But not for clothes - you're shocked, I am too - but for furniture.

During Victoria's interviews yesterday at the MTV Movie Awards she spoke about how she wanted to make sure the house was perfect for David and the boys. Well looks like she is taking feathering her nest very seriously as she shopped at uber posh Italian furniture store Minotti.

On how the filming of her reality show has been going: “It’s great. It’s really good fun. I really enjoyed it. I’ve been trying to balance filming and moving… We’ve been filming lots of stuff. My house is like a building site with boxes everywhere. I’m going backwards and forwards trying to feather my nest to make sure it’s perfect for David and the boys.”

On hubby David Beckham’s comeback performance for England: “I’m so proud of him. I think he was fantastic and the reception he got was incredible. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world and both me and the boys were so excited. It was great.”

Cameron Diaz And Posh Wear The Same Shoes

Victoria spent hours - no doubt - picking out her wardrobe. Every detail including her bra being visible, to prove she DOES wear them was thought out and calculated. Victoria Beckham was confident that no-one else would steal her thunder.

Unfortunately, Cameron Diaz had the same idea.

So while the two women wore very different dresses they did opt for identical, £350 designer high heels.


Silver and shiny there was no mistaking the heel's red undersole - the Christian Louboutin signature print.

Victoria Arrives In LA For MTV Movie Awards

After the excitement of David playing for England again Victoria was off to LA for her appearance at the MTV Movie Awards tonight. She will barely have time to see her new home, as she has to be back in the UK by Tuesday evening to be guest of honour at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards in London and also this week she will be a judge at Graduate Fashion Week.

Phew! what a busy week for Mrs Beckham.

She arrived in LAX yesterday with her trusty Hermes bag wearing all black and a visible bra with no nipple or petals exposures.

I can not wait to see what she wears tonight. Roberto Cavalli no doubt or could it be Chanel?

During her stay in LA she will be staying at the Mondrian Hotel, very Posh.

Playing For England Makes Beckham Realise He Made A Huge Mistake

The Sunday Mail is reporting today that David Beckham is having second thoughts about ending his playing career in the footballing backwater of the United States.

"I hope playing in America for LA Galaxy will not have any adverse effect on my chances of playing for England," said Beckham, who was given a hero’s welcome and a standing ovation when substituted in the 1-1 draw with Brazil.

"I’ll fly the world to play for my country."

The most likely scenario, should he decide to seek an expensive way out of his MLS contract, would see Beckham playing on in Europe, possibly with AC Milan, who courted him before he eventually opted for the United States.

*Pray*. My praying seemed to work to get him back into the England team so from now on I pray that he can get out of his LA Galaxy contract.

Look Who's Back

And doesn't he look happy to be back?

It was a very proud day for me and most England fans to see our football god "Sir" David Beckham back in an England shirt tonight.

I was at the match tonight (see ticket below) and David got by far the loudest cheer of the night, when he was announced to the crowd, in fact every time he touched the ball and especially when he set up the goal for John Terry. He got a standing ovation when taken off in the 77th minute.

Fans chanted: “There’s only one David Beckham!” as he left the field.

I had goosebumps watching the match as I was so happy for him. He seemed to be enjoying himself and happy to be back.

Victoria also there cheering her man on as he earned his 95th cap for playing for England. I truly hope he reaches 100.

In a post match interview David Beckham said his return to the England set-up had been an enjoyable experience.

"I think everyone of us enjoyed it. It was such an historic night for all of England and it was great to be out there," he said.

"It is always nice to have the support of the fans and I have had that throughout my career. It was amazing out there for me.

"I am happy to have been part of this historic occasion.

"It was good to be back in the England squad and it was nice to be with the team and just be part of the set-up again."

David, we are happy to see you back.

The next match is the crucial Euro 2008 game against Estonia so more sexy Becks pictures to come.....I can't wait.

Victoria Beckham Taken With My Camera Phone

I was VERY excited to see Victoria was at the England vs. Brazil game tonight. I was close enough to her to get this picture on my camera phone. I am cursing myself that I did not take my proper camera but I really did not think I would be so luck to be this close. I mean what are the chances that I would see her in a 90,000 seater stadium? I thought none, but I was wrong.

I was sitting in the Club Wembley seats and she was in the VIP seats behind me to the right. All her kids were there and they were very excited to see their dad playing and would often wave to try to get his attention which was very cute.

Victoria is very skinny in the flesh, more skinner than she looks in photos which is disturbing.

A lot of people were shoving cameras in her face which was a tad rude at times so I just took this one very quickly. She seems a little annoyed and could be heard tutting at some peoples intrusion and aggression towards her and I felt sorry for her.

I hope the next time I see her I will have my proper camera and not a dodgy camera phone and I hope I am in the picture with her.

Victoria Quits £10m US TV Show

It has been reported this morning that Victoria Beckham has pulled out of her US TV series so she can watch David resurrect his England career at Wembley tonight.

TV chiefs told Posh, 33, she must be in Los Angeles this week to film the £10million series about her move to America. But she refused to miss David's big night.

A source said: "She's fiercely loyal to David and wouldn't sacrifice being not being there for his England return."

I thought this was a REALITY show and the REALITY is that she needs to support her husband tonight. I am so shocked that the TV producers are acting like this. I am sure this story will develop further but I am more excited about what she will wear tonight.
